Made hummus for lunch. Finally found a recipe that is foolproof. Plus I'm actually putting in the amount of salt it says.
The child has.gone hunger games daft.
They're off to buy the second book. She read the first one this week and is on a re-read.
We won't let her watch the film as it's a 15. Much tripping face. Tween-tastic.

From work. Edit: one child is at its other parent's, one child hadn't emerged from its stinking teenage pit by the time I left for work. So, on the whole, that bit's working quite well for me. Weekend work buddy! What is the polite way to say found your missing person? Icu after getting 7 rounds with a defib the other morning and hospital not knowing who they were? |

TV: Hand egg and MOTD.
Games. None played. Got the free monthly ps+ games before they disappeared. Then nearly bought Dark Souls Remastered as it's on offer for Ā£17.50 on the PS Store, but didn't. Never played it.
OTTM, got my beef madras simmering on the hob. Potatoes going in later.

Making beef Ragu as the PM ordered the wrong beef. It's bubbling away nicely and I've tidied up.
About to shove the playstation on, so the pm & child are bound to appear home in about 10 mins.

Made some Nigel Slater chocolate cornflakes. Butter,golden syrup, chocolate and stir in some cornflakes. Used to make them with the grandchildren but now make them for myself. Simple quick no cooking and wonderful chocolatey indulgence.
