Motion control? Is that in docked mode you can wave the controller around to aim? I've been tempted by Splatoon for a while, but there's something about it I'm not sold on. It's nothing like the Wii waggle contols, it's moving the controller very slightly (the whole console with the controllers snapped to the sides when undocked, I think) to aim. One can switch it off and aim with the stick, hardly anyone does because when people tried it in the first game it was a revelation. It's very natural and precise, which is why I'm not sure that I can go back; all my aiming in BOTW and now in Skyrim is motion control. I got the first game and meant to play only the single player campaign because I wasn't into online play. Tried online and laughed like a drain throughout my first matches. Fun fun fun! I got the second one as soon as it came out, but you know what happened; first BOTW, then Mario Odyssey, Rabbids, Skyrim, there are too many damn games and not enough damn time! Matches are short and sweet, it's not even necessary to communicate much (you can call your team mates to you with a button press and stuff like that). I always thought you need to have online friends to play games like that, but it works very well with random people; after attending Splatfests (regular events throughout Europe) I got friend invitations from people mainly in France and Belgium that I accepted and that have carried over to the Switch. |

You can do that with the ps4 controller on some games and I keep meaning to try it to see how it goes.

If this forum is a waste of time, then my whole life is a waste. Oh. I think England will start the tournament strongly, and have better players than Tunisia. I'm going to say a 2 or 3 goal winning margin, probably 2-0. Tunisia aren't a bad team, but they don't have the pace or skill of some England players, and even if they're tough to break down, I think England's quality and preparation will win the day. Plus whatever else a BBC pundit just said. I also think England will peak too early, and I have no England players in my Fantasy team. |
