Last week Keef and Keza got to travel to Los Angeles to cover E3. This week I'm off to Bridlington.
As usual I will try to post a new box each evening. However, if I fail you'll all have to muddle through as best you can.

Thanks Destry. Enjoy Bridlington. I'll probably eat some cheese rolls for lunch.
Interesting weekend; I saw my parents, which was cool, went for a walk, had a nice meal on Friday in a good restaurant, and I cooked a decent tarka daal on Saturday for them.
Oh, and I also won at Fortnite in a solo game, but, hey, that's not such a biggie, I guess.

How much turmeric did you use, for example?

That’s amazing Shenguin, really well done. Do you have any more details? For example did you bloom the spices in oil first?

Good morning, This weekend I successfully summited Everest, rowed solo across the Atlantic, won a Nobel prize, and broke my PB for number of adelie penguins I could fit up my bum.
You see shenguin, anyone can make things up to try to impress the Internet

Morning all,
Gaming Rome 2 vanilla is way too easy a shame that Divide et Impera was the other end of the spectrum.
Family My dad's decided to retrace his roots as part of his birthday next year and what was initially a small holiday for family is now a Jolly Boys tour for him and his mates which I've been invited on. A dozen or so 'geezers' in their late 60s going abroad for 4 days.
Oh, and the destination is Naples. I can definitely see no problems with the Wetherspoons crowd descending there. None whatsoever.
David Baddiel Saw his show last night, very poignant and very funny at times. Much of the show is given over to how family members (in his case parents) aren't the glowing wonderfolk they are said to be. His mum died last year and he looks at what she got up to in her life (a long term affair) and contrasts with how she was perceived. His father is still alive but with an aggressive form of dementia, likewise he picks up on this as well.
4 stars.

I am off today to ensure I am sufficiently drunk for the England match.

Are England playing tonight? One of my defenders is English. Kyle someone? Possibly Kyle.
Hello. Games. The Division. Up far too late again. Side missions and trying to get all my kit blue. One shot kill head shots are the best. Boom motherfucker.
TV. Brooklyn Nine nine and The Defiant ones. The Dr Dre (Not a doctor!) & Jimmy Iovine story. Who knew Jimmy Iovine had such a rich backstory. I just assumed he was a record company schmuck.
Monday. Blergh.

Hello all.
Good weekends had by all? I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm happy that shenguin has finally won a round of Fortnight. It made sitting in all that piss worthwhile after all.
Watched a lot of BSG over the weekend, attended two barbecues, and photographed some waterlillies. A varied weekend.

Morning!
Weekend spent on .hack as the better half wanted to play Age of Empires. Enjoying the game again but levelling up is just a bit too easy. I'm currently 30 levels higher than the current story level so there's no challenge and cut scenes don't make sense, again. I did the same on part 1 though so I guess I only have myself to blame. Also did a bit on WoW, training 4 little raptor/ birds up to the point at which I can mount them. You heard.
TV wise we got caught up with The 100, Runaways and Westworld. All of which were very good.
Football! No. The works predictor is going very badly for me. Only correct score I've guessed so far is Argentina vs Iceland. Probably tells you a lot about my football knowledge.

Morning.
No games to speak of, mainly due to incessant football. I've obviously made bad decisions in the Fantasy Football (or just one that begins with an "M" and ends in "essi"), but at least I'm no longer dead last, unlike certain Babies I could mention.
Instead of trying out Fortnite I did some light Skyrimming (finished the not particularly demanding Broken Fang cave) in the spare 20 minutes I found between football matches. I've watched some Fortnite gameplay in preparation and learned that, unlike in Splatoon, there's no motion control aiming on the Switch. Really hope they'll patch it in, it's the only way to keep up with people using a mouse.

Hello. I went camping. The i came home and played some computer games.
It’s surprising how hard it is to find a big hole in the ground filled with mutants in both Somerset and FO NV.

My FF campaign is the same as England's will be, a brief burst of optimism followed by inevitable dissapointment

I've been tempted by Splatoon for a while, but there's something about it I'm not sold on.

I've upgraded from cheese rolls to Quorn and hummus.
Asafoetida, cumin and mustard seeds were first in to very hot ghee; I believe that is what tarka means. Half a teaspoon of turmeric in with the daal as they boiled. Tomatoes, chuli, onions, garlic, ginger, spinach, and (towards the end) amchur, black pepper and some chili powder. Tarka and daal mixed immediately before serving.
I hid and wondered round quietly, before realising there were only 2 left alive. I spotted her/him in the distance, made a drunken decision to approach him by going round a peak, and happened to see her/him again, and shot wildly with an assault rifle. They died really quickly, I guess they must have been severely injured already, and had probably exposed themselves to seek health. I was shamefully lucky and it was utterly undeserved; the whole episode is undignified and unedifying. I hate myself more today than I would have done if I'd been second.

Ten - Fortnite automatically puts you in matches only with people on the same system as you by default. If you invite people into your party who are on pc or xbox or whatever you will then play against people in a similar mixture so overall you are unlikely to come across keyboard and mouse users unless Switch players buy them in large numbers and even then Epic would have to enable keyboard and mouse, which they have yet to do for xbox.

Modestly pretending not to boast boasting is the worst. Particularly when you've pissed yourself playing Fortnite.

Well, well, well. It appears some of us are better at selecting Messi and Ronaldo and then hitting "Random" than others.

at the weekend I watched a mate playing fortnite. From what I can make out it's a lot of sneaking and then leaping around manically whilst shooting. I want to join but I already make other people feel far better about themselves in most ways, unsure I can extend it to an online experience.
