Hi
I think I played ‘Like a Dragon’ I played it for about three hours bur most of it was cut scenes. Not for me.
I’ve also played a bit of ‘Fist of the North Star’ (‘Ken’s Revenge’?), which I think is by the same people and maybe like a Yakuza game.
It is ok.
I do sometimes play Dark Souls 2 but it isn’t quite as compelling as Dark Souls, Demon’s Soul or Bloodborne, and I’m not very good so I don’t play it so often …

Morning all!
Half term is over, so the boy is back to school and I am back to work. Joy.
TVblog: Seinfeld and B5.
Gamesblog: having borrowed my mate’s OSSC, I tested the various retro consoles I own to see if it would be the best option for connecting them to an HDMI-only telly.
Both the PS2 and GameCube displays look gorgeous, both plugged in to the OSSC via scart cables. Tested FFX on the former, MKDD on the latter.
The CD32, though… no dice. I plugged the s-video output into a scart converter block, and also tried composite, and neither provided an image. Turns out the OSSC requires a purely RGB signal (via either scart or component).
So I’m now on the lookout for a device that can handle both scart and svideo, with minimal lag.

I’ve the Kaico digital to HDMI for the GC, and the image for that is superb. I don’t know whether it’s the cable or the ‘cube, but there is some moiré visible on the OSSC. |

Morning
I have a cold and a sore throat but am soldiering on for Great Britain.
Games: Blasphemous. Did I mention I beat the 2nd boss? Well, I did. I also realised I had a key in my quest items, so went allllll the way back to the first area to use it and was rewarded with a sweet relic called (checks with internet people) 'Blood perpetuated in sand'. This reveals hidden platforms (made of blood), so I was able to access new areas and loot from previously 'clear' sections. Also some of the art is a bit bloody and gory. Just like my face. 4* so far (until it gets too tricky).
Tea: Leftover beef stew for tonight.
