lazybones Flying to the black hole at the heart of the galaxy is perfectly possible, and was one of the waypoints of the Distant Worlds 2 expedition, although it took me about 2 months to get there. High-G planets are scary, and best avoided. 'The View' is a beautiful place, but it has about a 4G pull, and although i landed it and felt cocky while other were pancaking around me, i hadn't planned on how hard it would be to escape. First attempt overloaded my thrusters, pulled me back, and took my hull down to about 20% in the process. Second attempt involved a lot of sweaty palms! There are some funny yootoob videos of folks also finding out how things don't work the same in 4G.

Today I had some really shitty news. My yougest brother is in hospital on end of life care.
His wife called an ambulance yesterday after he collapsed with dangerously low blood pressure. He was diagnosed a few years ago with prostate cancer which has since spread to his bones. He'd been receiving Radium 223 treatment.

did you jump in using super cruise assist or 'me' flight? with super cruise as long as you break away from the star quickly enough you should be fine 'me' wise maintain enough distance to keep a low temp, usually below 64 deg
