Anyone buying Dragons Dogma tomorrow? I intend to check Didier Drogba's X feed on the off chance he is playing to exploit the phenomenal alliteration.
Regardez, Arisen, le sac d'oignon!

I wonder if I can buy and not play Dragon's Dogma 2 if I haven't played the first game.

Already bought, downloading it just after Midnight tonight. Already downloaded it. May check it out at midnight. It depend on if I'm playing Fortnite or Mass Effect, or tired. I'm playing ME legendary Edition. About 1/3 of the way through. I've got Liara and Wrex's family armour. Mopping up a whole load of pathetic stuff before doing the other main missions. It's lovely looking on PS5 on the big screen. Still the same combination of decent bits and terrible bits.

Isn't there a second game as well?
Sons Of The Forest
The first is on PS4, but I haven't played it. It's only £5 at the moment and I have some store credit, so adding it the list of bought and not played games seems ideal.
I may let you know how scary the download is.

It was the sub £5 price point that had me downloading it. Similar thinking with Dragons Age. I’m content never to play The Forest again. My man crashed in the forest, he had some bad experiences, then he was killed. That was his time. There is no second chance.

I also downloaded a game that might have been on PS Plus a while ago. It was in a kind of post-apocalyptic scenario with lots of cut scenes and two characters with tattoos that had a sort of suggestion of Relentless energy drink. I played it for a few minutes, crashed a motorbike, then turned it off. It wasn’t for me…

Or what sheepers said Anyway... Tis a troubling foe! Wolves hunt in packs! Perhaps a metaphor for.. It's Dragons Dogma 2! About to set it downloading on the 5. Torn between fighter and cheaty mage.

Days Gone - Yes that’s it. Not for me.
I think I just want a wandering simulator. I liked wandering about in Elder Scrolls - Oblivion such a lot. Skryrim didn’t quite match it. Fallout 3 neither …

Days gone was good for the hordes, giant petrol bombs and traps galore. Don't think much else of it made an impression.
Might try the original dragons dogma and get further than walking to the first castle.

I liked Dragon's Dogma, though the boss fights were a bit rubbish. Just chipping away for ever at a massive number of hit points. Lots of running away and circling the arena waiting for auto heal to kick in. The boss fights took up to 45 minutes each I remember. I don't like that. It makes it very grindy.
I'd rather have a Souls type boss where you can kill them fairly quickly so long as you avoid the massive damage. I did like the pawn system. My pawn regularly ventured out in to other people's worlds and came back overpowered. I think he was a bald monk. I also enjoyed the ridiculous pawn conversations telling me what I had just done or that I was currently fighting a dragon or something similarly obvious.
I'd be happy with a similar experience this time round, but with better designed boss fights.
I downloaded The Forest over lunch. Very very scary download A big boys game. I can see why Tuffers, Crankcaller and Mr Tiddles all shat themselves at the thought of it.

I did not shit myself, I just thought the racial stereotypes were overblown. I'd like an island populated with Ivy League merchant bankers and some gunnage. Lots of gunnage, mowing them down as they check their I-pads to see how their bloody investments are going.

Downloading Dogma 2 only to read it has 1 save file. I like to save approx every 5 secs.
