Today is my Saturday which will be spent at wordplay and then shopping. Ottm Furies on netflix, apparently Paris is run by gangs who like to kill each other, not a rude waiter in sight.

hi
Today is my FriYay.
I woke up with this blood monitor going off - every hour in the night.
Wondering if I should get Dragon’s Dogma 2. Probably not. I guess it’s £60.
Work today but first I have to go the docs. Sit down and wait for the results. The problem is that I went out and drank four pints of Guinness last night, which puts blood pressure up I think. And some of the tests took place while I was on the bike, so they would also be quite high.
That’s it really. I can’t have a shower until I take this apparatus off.
Stinkin’ thinkin’.

A monitor going off when you have high blood pressure will surely give you high blood pressure?
Do some Yoga Lazybones as well as the cycling/walking etc.

Morning all! A grey day down here on the south coast. But it shall not dampen my FriYay feeling. lazybones - do you perhaps wonder if drinking four pints of Guinness whilst hooked up to a blood pressure monitor maybe wasn’t such a great idea today? TVblog: finished the War Without End two-parter of B5. It’s a corker. Amigablog: actually recorded some video for another amipal episode. My goodness. Filmblog: the other night, I went to see Dune pt2: Dune Harder with my brother and also my dad. Good film, very good film. I may have missed ten minutes near the start. This was due to having eaten a very large calzone* roughly half an hour beforehand. * not a folded pizza, I cannot stress that enough.

The monitor goes off randomly twice an hour (once at night), though I think hearing it activate does put my blood pressure up.

4 pints is a pretty poor effort for a Thursday night Lazy, try and reach at least 7 or 8 next time.

More bf2042 last night.
We watched the Reluctant Traveller. Eugene was in St Tropez. I giggled at him spitting out an oyster as I'd probably do the same.
To the hoover!*

Capcom speaks:
"To Dragon's Dogma 2 players on Steam
To all Dragon's Dogma 2 players
We would like to update you on the status of the following items, about which we have received numerous comments from the community. To all those looking forward to this game, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.
■Crashes and bug fixes
We are investigating/fixing critical problems such as crashes and freezing. We will be addressing crashes and bug fixes starting from those with the highest priority in patches in the near future.
■The option of starting a new game
We are looking at adding a feature to the Steam version of the game that will allow players that are already playing to restart the game. We will announce more details as soon as we can.
■Paid DLC
All the items listed below can be obtained in-game or as paid DLC items. Art of Metamorphosis - Character Editor Ambivalent Rift Incense - Change Pawn Inclinations Portcrystal - Warp Location Marker Wakestone - Restore the dead to life! 500 Rift Crystals / 1500 Rift Crystals / 2500 Rift Crystals - Points to Spend Beyond the Rift Makeshift Gaol Key - Escape from gaol! Harpysnare Smoke Beacons - Harpy Lure Item
■Regarding Frame Rate
A large amount of CPU usage is allocated to each character and calculating the impact of their physical presence in various areas. In certain situations where numerous characters appear simultaneously, the CPU usage can be very high and may affect the frame rate. We are aware that in such situations, settings that reduce GPU load may currently have a limited effect; however, we are looking into ways to improve performance in the future."

Happy Fri-yay everyone.
Dogma-gate - I'm utterly shocked a game has been released that's broken. SHOCKED.
England football shirt-gate. I didn't really care about the shirt/flag (it's just a shirt innit 🤷), but now that Sir Beer Korma is OUTRAGED about the WOKE BRIGADE (please vote for me) I'm going to buy ten.
Home Alone-gate. As the eldest is in Barcelona, the PM and youngest have gone to Scarbados until Sunday. Who wants to touch me?

I played a bit of Dragon's Dogma. Sheep2 is a 51 year old fighter with grey hair a lot of body hair and a tache to make Merv Hughes jealous. I also created my pawn. Bob is a female magician. She does not have a bob as the game doesn't have that haircut. I played the first part and reached the camp.
It's a good looking game.
The optimization is so bad that we have people wanting to commit mass genocide for more fps. That is not my excuse. I have no idea if the frame rates slow down on the pS5

Have you seen the prices? I'm pretty sure Nike and the FA have concocted the fauxtrage over the cross colour to hide that the top costs £125. Buying ten is quite the commitment. I didn't like either top particularly.

Home Alone-gate. As the eldest is in Barcelona, the PM and youngest have gone to Scarbados until Sunday. Who wants to touch me? We're splitting the Easter school hols between us. Some days just the pm, sometimes just me, sometimes both of us. The PM said last night that she's thinking of going away overnight to a hotel with a pool one of the days with the child and would I mind. Lol.
