I just made a toastie in the griddle pan using two days old Kalamari Olive bloomer, cheese, chicken and ham. It was absolutely delightful. A wanky cafe could have charged about £6 for it.
I say wanky. The kind of place I enjoy patronising. But then again, I touch myself at night.

I ate a nourishing lunch:
A £1 bag of almonds A banana A kiwi fruit A small bar of dark chocolate A cup of green tea
Not much else happening. I have work tasks to complete but my heart isn’t in them …

Egg Mayo sandwich from the Co-op, a Snickers Duo, and an Innocent-branded smoothie.
Being vegetarian makes the Co-op meal deal significantly less good value, as the vegetarian sandwiches are noticeably cheaper than the dead animal sandwiches. To make the meal deal better value, I always get the most expensive drink, which happens to be a smoothie, even though I don't really like them.
Edit: I feel it's important to add: 1) It's free-range egg, 2) I usually get crisps (usually Walkers Prawn Cocktail) with a meal deal not chocolate, 3) I normally bring my own lunch rather than buying something.

Hot dogs and then loads of sweets as I have been packing party bags for my son's 7th birthday party.
Obviously the hot dogs weren't for the party bags......or were they!

Poor chickens. Eating their unborn offspring, you monster.

On a scale of one to monster where do you stand on eating young animals? Veal, lamb or unborn chickens? Or the bit just after they are born and turned into nuggets?

I occasionally eat some egg. I know this means … occasionally maybe ingesting chicken embryos … I hate it when I see them in a cracked egg in the dish.
I’m an egg sceptic. The thought of eating egg brings me no happiness.

It won't affect you as you live in the wilds, but M&S stopped advertising that their sandwiches use free range eggs last year. I have not bought a sarnie containing egg from M&S since as I presume that this means that the eggs are not free range. I know it is only a little thing and that free range doesn't necessarily mean what it implies, but it really annoyed me that they did this. They have also stopped selling non-smoked salmon sandwiches. I used to buy the very occasional salmon sandwich from them. It's very difficult to buy a pre-made sandwich that is made with any ethical ingredients. It is why I go to Pret if in Brum, despite the prices. Cheese sarnies for lunch today. Organic Cheddar, from Sainsbury. It was a bit dull, but the bread was nice.

hi
I have just been out fot some drinks. Was it good? It’s hard to say. I talked to an interesting man but then there were points where I felt either myself or the person I was talking to would rather be elsewhere.
