I bet you would get on with the new guy if you gave him a chance. Why don't you both grab a latte sometime or failing that just straight up hug it out? I'll hug him round his scrawny neck with my hands maybe. He is a terrible little shit with no work ethic*, no likable personality traits and with an over inflated ego and sense of self worth that is totally unearned. I honestly hate him.

Games - finally finished devil survivor 2 after a 4 year hiatus. Thank god for YouTube so I don't have to wait another decade to see the other endings. ****
Other - at the folks installing play store on my dad's Kindle fire. Easier than expected and makes it a good android tablet.

My fear is that it's some generic period piece where the handsome male actor looks all spiffy in his fancy clothes whilst generating increasing sexual tension in his day-to-day interactions with the female protagonist. In other words, a typical middle-aged female masturbatory aid dressed as something that's "arty" or "cultured". I have watched the first episode and noticed no swords, proper fist fights or nudity. |

Alias Grace is based on a Margret Atwood novel so it is not going to be a generic period piece. It's main character is a women convicted of murder for starters.
I haven't read the book but its very unlikely to have action scenes so perhaps just do something else instead of watching it, unless you are in the type of relationship where autonomy is not allowed.

It was quite enjoyable but final battle was a multi-part nightmare. Never a good sign when the faq strategies don't work or require a obscene level of grinding. |
