Then … militaristic drumming and whistles. An orange march. A man railing at passers-by from a tent. Another man being held back from going to talk to him, and another man passing me a leaflet: ‘Here you go. Have a look at da’’
Wasn’t much on the leaflet - an army march tomorrow.
On the way to eat a breakfast.

Taylor Swift played 45 songs last night. Value for money, albeit a lot of money. I'm unconvinced about massively long concerts. 90 mins to 2 hours plus support is plenty. Especially if you are standing. They should be enjoyable rather than an endurance test. At least at a festival each band is on for only 45 minutes or so and you can have a sit down and a wander. |
