We need a 5 hour discourse on classic Diplomacy maps. Also a lengthy explanation of how we are doing it wrong. The link I posted contaiins a long, long post from Mr. C on the middle game in Diplomacy. You'll have to provide your own reasons why you're doing it wrong though. How, not why. I know why I am doing it wrong: Because I can Because I wasn't concentrating Because stabbing people is more fun than a sensible strategy. FortniteI adopted a sensible strategy in the first duos game. One fight, one kill. The last enemy. So we won the game. The next game I killed loads of people, but we did not win. This was mostly because the end bit was too crowded. It wasn't possible to sneak and hide. There were too many people shooting and we ended up shot run down and shot from the side. |

RIP Chumbles.
I have not returned to Neptunes Pride since our last game, it was all fun when we were stabbing other people instead of each other. He could get very caps locky when that happened. I do fondly remember epic 64 player games with him a few years back. Fun times.
OTTM: My Fantasy football team is in 2nd last place of the league I am in. Am considering trying Elden Ring again, although I have no spare time and am very tired so its only a futile ambition.
Had a nice Nepalese meal last night.

Possibly my favourite part of Diplomacy was trying to guess who was who during anonymous games. Chumbles' tell was pretty straightforward - detailed wall of text instructions about exactly what had to be done, with a pre-emptive bollocking for doing something wrong
