I feel weirdly unpumped about the win. To me it just didn’t feel like a win because of the penalty. If it had been the other way round I think England fans would have felt cheated. It feels almost as if we may as well have won on a toss of a coin.
I feel so out of step with the people around me.
Maybe it’s because I like the Netherlands team. Yesh. I booked a holiday to Amsterdam today.

Maybe it’s because I felt so aggrieved about ‘the hand of God’, and so aggrieved at Sergio Ramos grappling Mo Salah, and so aggrieved at Lionel Messi punching Fabinho in the face to win a free kick.
