I am mildly gutted to to see Brazil vs Mexico is on at 3pm and this is too early for me to watch. I reckon there could be another upset on the cards.
I had my usual flurry of top 10 finishes on Fortnite but as always a bigger boy came along and killed me each time (apart from the one time I fell of a mountain).

I painted the railings at the front of my house yesterday and made a pretty good job of it too.
Good enough to submit to trip advisor as a local attraction? Possibly, but only because there's nothing else here.

G’day. Had another pop at fortnite, this time in the 50 50 games. It’s not for me. I can’t even work out how to get my dude to do a dance, so my sass levels are off the charts. Unfortunately they’re off the bottom of the charts.
Whilst I wish I was at home, the office has quality air con. I’m terribly conflicted.

At the weekend I played in goal for Spain during the penalty shoot out. That one where I got a full hand on it but it still went it, the other one where it somehow went through me. Does anyone know what the rouble exchange rate is?

Got back into AC Origins, lots to do.

Morning!
Finished off .hack vol 2 over the weekend. Still quite a bit to do before moving on to vol 3 though. The plat will be mine! Also played more WoW.
TV wise I started watching Dragonball Z whilst on WoW, out of nostalgia more than anything. It's much much slower than I remember. Frieza can't come soon enough. Also continued the IASIP re-re watch. Mac has just started cultivating mass.
Football! Dire couple of matches yesterday. On the bright side, it does give me a little bit of hope for England being present in the final (I know, I know, but . . . maybe).

It's shaping up to be another relentlessly hot day. Oh goody.
Until yesterday I had forgotten how long one of these knockout qualifying football matches can last. Watching both games yesterday left me with no time to play any game of my own.
We had decided to continue our viewing of worthy historical dramas with Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom. I love Idris Elba, but you know it's bad when even your faceblind other half points out that he looks nothing like Mandela (Mr Enemy was also highly critical of his Xhosa). It's fine in recreating history. Bit cringy at the beginning in its clumsy attempts to educate a historically unaware audience about apartheid.

I bought a ne ![]() w board yesterday. A bargaintastic £35 from a seller on eBay who'd misspriced it by some margin. As a result I drove to Kettering and back last night. Worth it though as it's a helluva set up. Santa Cruz 42" deck ( with a sweet concave and camber, Road Rider 72mm wheels with abec 9 bearings and Road Rider reverse kingpin trucks. It's ace. ![]()  I'm working away in Builth Wells all week so I intend to take it for a roll around Llandindrod Well's lake later. It's upposed to have a smooth asphalt path around it, approx 1.5km around so a few laps will be lovely. I popped out on Saturday for a wee while on my Sector 9 and according to Google Maps I did 10km which I wasn't expecting. |
