The old club the Arches? I always wanted to see Andy Weatherall there, but wasn't to be. Saw him plenty of other places though. Dunno if ever saw him in the arches. SubClub and a couple of other places usually. Occasionally now at alfos. The arches was closed down due to the police being arseholes after two youths died on e. But the fact that a multimillion pound hotel was given planning permission directly behind/beside it didn't help with the licensing board. I'm not saying Glasgow licensing board are corrupt. I'm shouting it from the rooftops. My favourite weatherall story is when he played my home town and a local guy who thought he was a bit of a playa told him he was playing the record at the wrong speed "as he owned it" Weatherall gave him his £5 entry back and told him to fuck off. |

I've seen him DJing after the Scream in London and a few times in Sheffield clubs, the weirdest one though was the one he did on a random Sunday afternoon in a high street pub called Bungalows and Bears.
