A good rump steak is delicious.
Though any good beef that has been properly fed and hung for taste is delicious compared to supermarket beef.
Pricier, but worth the extra.

A good rump steak is delicious. Though any good beef that has been properly fed and hung for taste is delicious compared to supermarket beef. Pricier, but worth the extra. Maybe I just can't do rump right (as well as anywhere else I've tried it) but it always just feels either tough and chewy or crumbly and chalky. Fully agree on where to buy though. Although Lidl used to do a beautiful Angus Filet. They've stopped now but sell one in similar packaging, just labelled 'Scottish Beef'. I haven't tried that one yet. |
