Hi! According to the reading in my car it was 20 degrees at 6,45 am. End times. I'm now on train to that there Leeds.
Sophistication? Sophistication? Don't talk to me about sophistication. I've BEEN to Leeds.

16 degrees down here by the coast, thanks to some low cloud. The sun is now burning through it like an arc welder - I expect the earth to be scorched within the next couple of hours.
Morning all!
Feels like I did a lot in Mad Max yesterday evening. Definitely drove many, many miles (though fast travel is a godsend). And some of those were on roads.
I have also been playing Putty Squad. This is a game that was originally demoed on an Amiga magazine coverdisk, but was never released (not back then anyway, it was released to the Amiga community a year back). Good to finally play it, though.

Today we have a tour of a Kentish lavender field, then down to Brighton for dinner and this play, being beamed live to the Picturehouse, and then a night in the Grand. Tomorrow we are going to Charleston House - somewhere we’ve passed so many times, living out our Bloomsbury Set fantasies
This is the closest I’ve been to Amipal since the third Chatterbox meat.

If it helps, the UK is currently on UTC+1 or BST. New York is currently on UTC-4, so it will be 10am there when the match kicks off.
I think I've previously expressed my annoyance with people getting time wrong, especially when it's FIFA's official website that can't deal with time zones.

My little pony!
Morning. More Parcs&Rec, more Bosch, my pal told me to watch Animal Kingdom. Hmmm. The dynamic between the mum and sons is err strange. Games. Bloody GTA and it's bloody double sales.
Today is my Friday and need to do a bit of stuff as my boss is back on Monday.
Tomorrow I'm accompanying Mrs Crank to see Queen* as she was a fan as a youth. I'm sure it will be all the hits played. I've probably secured hospitality bands so proper toilets at the least. It's outside and supposed to be sunny.
*Nae Freddie strangely enough.

Morning all,
Last night I watched 74 Ronin and then read about seppuko. Not nice.
In gaming news I'm progressing on AC Origins, I applaud the levelling situation whereby trying it on with anyone a level or two above you means a quick trip to the afterlife. Even though a lot of the quests are fetchy they keep them varied just enough and the landscape is varied.
4 stars.

I have to spend all day listening to consultants and being in focus groups. If I am lucky I will be out at 5pm and home around 10pm.

I'm working away this week, in sunny Builth Wells, and I planned on getting into my unplayed Steam games. Unfortunately the wifi in the cottage I'm in is mostly dire so that's not happened. Instead I have been out on my board every night, no trick stuff just on the board i picked up on Sunday night. I don't know if skating should be an NHS remedy but I know that the pain in my knees I've been having has gone. The muscles used in pushing must have been the final piece of the puzzle with the muscle issues I've been having. So massage, a muscle roller and skating appear to have got my knees back to where they were a year ago. Hurrah!

74 Ronin the sequel to 47 Ronin? Quite enjoyed the original.
Morning!
Today is my Friday as I'm off down to Devon for a wedding tomorrow. The wedding is on Saturday. Inconsiderate twats. I'm also going to be in a wool suit so the weather could do with calming down a bit. I've made some terrible life choices.
Games! Tried that Football, Tactics and Glory that was positively reviewed on Polygon. Turn based football? It's actually quite fun. 4 *s.

Queen have been at best a Queen tribute band since Freddie died. I am not a fan of any of the Queen+ stuff
I regret not going to Knebworth in '86. It was slightly too expensive for a naive 13 year old and I thought I'd go to the next tour.

I wonder if Bink attended the chatterbox meats, but hung around the periphery never revealing his identity like an IRL lurker.
I like to think so.

Yeah thats it. Should be good. The rest of the lineup on the mainstage is a bit shonky - Texas, Gun etc. There's some smaller bands that might be worth a go.
