I took my son fishing for a couple of hours this morning. He struggled to hold the rod so I'll setup a small pole next time. The first hour there was so no sign of life, then I caught a couple of decent perch and a small rudd.
We headed home for lunch after that. Job done.

I'm off into town tonight for a work leaving do. It's only really the office staff that are going as we mostly live in the Glasgow area. There's a library Assistant who's wedding is tomorrow and folk are going to that and not tonight. Which suits me tbh. Less folk tonight.

The last time I had G&Ts someone hit me hard on the back of the head and stole quite a lot of the bottle (all that was left).
I assume something similar has happened to Felice as it looks like his posts were hacked late last night. And he is too dead to post today.

It's my first day off for almost rwo weeks. I'm at work, expect I'll be here until about midnight.
I reckon I can start drinking* about 18.30 and it shouldn't provoke adverse comments.

Today I took delivery of some magic beads. I ordered them last week via Amazon Marketplace, not realising they were being shipped from China. The last leg of their journey was via Yodel. And surprisingly they arrived.
The magic beads are to 'fix' i.e. fashion a replacement for, a missing tooth, more spcifically to replace a broken single tooth denture which I had fitted pre-covid and which has been broken and repaired many times since.
i am self=conscious about the missing peg as it is upper deck, next to the central incisors
The quantity of magic beads (100g) appears enough to fashion around 100 fake toothlets. I have so far fashioned 3, at least one of which I am quite happy with. I just need to stain them with tea to match my existing gnashers.
As lazy would say, thanks for listening.

Hey man I don't make the rules! Personally, Whisky, Brandy, Armagnac and red wine. My hatred of GnTs comes firstly from them tasting horrid, secondly from my second ever work boss Simon, who was a collosal twat and drank them when everyone else drank pints. For the record Simon's wife left him and we all hated him. |
