A lovely sunny warm day. New Ice Age my arse!
Yesterday I made text book bangers n mash, with savoy cabbage, carrots, Yorkies and gravy. Boodiful.
OTTM, looking forward to Kier Stalins latest policy: Stamp a puppy and/or kitten to death and get an extra loaf of bread in your rations. But you must look grateful and say thank you.
Righto, must dash, I'm going down to the local comprehensive school to throw quail eggs at the oiks. Hoorah!

Been in and out of games on games pass. Finally settled on Callisto Protocol which meant dinner was late and well cooked and no hoovering done. A dead space lookie likie so a busy day killing mutants. Sounds good, will take a look. |

Visited the Butser Ancient Farm at the weekend.
It’s a site set up to explorer experimental archeology, so they can work out how ancient dwellings were constructed in these fair isles.
They have buildings there built to mirror Iron Age, Bronze Age, Roman, and Saxon-era homes. Really fascinating stuff.
Helped that they had reenactors on-site, who were good at filling in details and asking questions of.
Plus the Vikings had a fight later on, showing off a variety of weapons.
A good day out.

I am downloading The Callisto Protocol. I expect nothing less than gratuitous violence, exploderisations and a nice cup of tea.
I do like the fact that, according to the Wiki, it was not released in Japan due to the game's violent content.

It was on a retail estate. Had a filling station, and Argos, and some sort of Big Cheap Store IIRC. That last one had a rapid charger outside. Was handy for a charge whilst we ate our sandwiches. |

Hello
Today my daughters took me and Mrs D out for my 70th. We had a bottle of English sparkling wine from the winery we visited yesterday, followed by a Spanish Tapas restaurant where we had a table outside in the glorious sunshine with charcuterie and cheese, a variety of tapas and two carafes of white sangria.
Very pleasant. 4 stars. Would recommend.
