The fella that the TV aerial man recommended for logs and coal has not delivered. He delivers smaller amounts and has been reliable. He was supposed to have delivered last Thursday. Been to the coal merchant's and same basic product but twice the price. Hopefully he'll reappear at some point.

Tech update
I managed to grab a substantial chunk of the missing data from my backup disk off of the failing hard drive. The duff disk is still readable, but it’s getting increasingly difficult to get any large amounts of data off of it now - it just unmounts itself.
Anyway, I’ve copied my backup and recovered-data to a brand new 4TB disk as an interim solution before going into something more secure.
And said files are readable in Lightroom. Phew!

If it helps, I usually tick white British on forms. Edit: no, if you do Cunt of the Week, I don't think it would be intrinsically racist to include people of ethnic minorities. However, I think the fact you felt the need to ask the question probably reveals some potential issues at the core of your proposition. Perhaps racism is only one factor you should be sincerely concerned about. |

I've just watched the first 5 minutes of some new netflix thing with Nicole Kidman. Everyone in it looked weird, like they were waxworks rather than real people. I think they all just had too much botox and make up, but I got proper uncanny valley vibes
