I didn’t sleep so good last night. I woke up on the sofa about 1am and went to bed, then I lay there - thoughts racing. It was maybe a bit feverish in retrospect.
I feel a bit rough today too. Ihad a large bottle of Leffe Brun when I got home, but not enough to deserve a hangover.
Hmmm.
I definitely like Shogun.

I was going to say 69 is no age, but he's Scottish, so he must have been one of the oldest people on record

lazybonesWork thoughts? If so, you need to try and knock that on the head at L'Weekend. Just had all the curry. The PM&child are watching Strictly. I'm on the laptop. Some Sleeping Dogs possibly.

There were work thoughts. Or they were triggered by work thoughts and then went funnelling into the past….

Apparently Donald Dewar died on the day of a Scotland v Croatia game as well. Some coincidence. Sturgeon and Swinney better stay at home on November 15th.

I seem to have caught Sheep's cold via Fortnite chat. It's the only possible explanation. A milder version though. Watered down by the interwebs. Shenguin: "You're really Scottish" As in, you're not cos-playing? Or, as in, You've got a strong accent? I believe dear reader he meant the second. Been to Silverburn shopping mall place. The PM went off to look at stuff so the child and I wandered round the shops. I now smell of Sabrina Carpenter perfume as the child was wearing another perfume and wanted to know what it smelled like on skin. I also heard the most diplomatic answer in ages when I showed the child a jacket I liked and asked what she thought: "I don't like it, but it would suit you" M&S curries for dinner. Two mains and two sides for £15 is pretty good. Yeah, even as the words slurred out of me, it occurred to me that it might be quite a fucking rude (inadvertently) thing to say. I'd apologise, but I don't like apologising. For some reason, possibly drunkeness, I was surprised to hear a Scottish accent.

Scottish person speaks with a Scottish accent, shock horror. Rolling has an Edinburgh accent. It's like a posh Englishman trying to hold in a shit. With just a hint of Scottishness occasionally. Crank, not so much. He was a bit quiet on the mic (especially after Shenguin's strong early play) and giggling quite a lot. This made it obvious that he wasn't sober. Shenguin was mostly talking about the delicious organic wine he'd had. It was free. And delicious. And otrganic. And did I say it was organic and delicious, and free. The wine he was currently drinking (which he'd paid for) was nowhere near as nice.

I was very amused by the surprise in your voice. I was also equally surprised as I thought I was clicking to send a message. I remember playing Burnout 3 online (PS2) against a ton of Yanks and a Scot; they thought the latter was Canadian for some reason.

Crank, not so much. He was a bit quiet on the mic I was absolutely chewed. I could talk or play Fortnite badly. I went for the latter.

The wine he was currently drinking (which he'd paid for) was nowhere near as nice. My considered theory about this is that 'the English' - great bunch of lads - have been conditioned by the West Coast mainstream media (aka 'the Weegia') to think that a typical Scottish accent is what Rab C Nesbitt sounds like, and anyone who sounds different (ie about 75% of the population) 'don't sound Scottish'. It's like if I watched nothing but Pathe newsreels for a few years then met a Brummie let's say and thought they didn't sound much like HRH the Queen (RIP), therefore they must not sound like an English people and were probably French, or maybe Icelandic or Egyptian. It's appalling racism really, when you think about it. Admittedly I've heard continental Europeans and Americans say much the same too. Also appalling racists. I'm assuming that Crank sounds like Rab C Nesbitt? Case closed. Detective Logico signing off.
