hi
I watched part of the Arsenal football game last night. A couple of people left work early to watch it so I kind of got sucked into the idea that it might be good. I got bored though ... I then put on βKafkaβ the TV series, on 4 On Demand. I wasnβt into that either. It had a voice-over, a bit like a male German version of the voiceover in βDesperate Housewivesβ, and the young Franz Kafka spent a lot of time banging on about writing. It laid it all on a bit thick. It made me think of βQuantum Leapβ. It was like an episode of Quantum Leap that went back to Austro-Hungarian Prague.
Iβm not sure if Iβll keep on watching it. There were loads of adverts too. 4 On Demand has an extreme advert ideology.

Hello
I finished a book yesterday - Reading a book: Life Ceremony, by Sayaka Murata. I loved it - in places. I think Sayaka Murata might be my new favourite writer.
Now I have to go back to reading a book about the history of office work. Dry content, written in a lively way. But the content is dry - it cannot be denied. Now on a section about postmodernism in building design.
Halfway though a book on Palestine too.

My rate of reading is really slow. I always get sucked into looking at my phone. But there is less and less on my phone. Basically GGB-Chatterbox 2.0 (Namaste hand gesture to Destry) and the Guardian. Occasional glances at my moribund shares and a chess app.

Morning. Yesterday was the PMs birthday. She couldn't get it off due to a meeting, I had to go in to the office due to a meeting. Pesky meetings. Her folks came over with cake once she was home.
We watched some TV and had a glass of wine. No Pink Cocaine. No actual Cocaine.
Today I'm WFH. Played a little Uncharted 4.
We share some office space with the school music tutors. Theres a guy doing a mat leave cover who apparently is very handsome. Male model handsome and my colleagues of all ages are giddy over him. The cunt brought in a tin of biscuits on his second day to thank everyone for being so nice.
I've yet to meet him, but yesterday I put 2 grammes of heroin in his drawer and anonymously called the polis.

Morning
Got a new job at a library in Glasgow. Everyone has been really nice so far except this weird nerdy old man who always looks stoned. Not sure what his problem is.

Nice picture of Glasgow library facilities, no gutters rubbing one out in the non fiction section?

My ISA has returned over Β£500 profit since February #Winning.
Cloudy out.
Tellywise I'm suffering through Industry, Penguin and the latest Walking Dead thing, none of it impresses me.
Gaming night went badly. We play FPP in PUBG now but my brother is really struggling with it.

Can you jump between the modes during a game or you stuck with what you choose?

Can you jump between the modes during a game or you stuck with what you choose? If playing TPP you can switch to FPP in game anytime you want. You can't switch playing FPP. I hate TPP as players hide behind buildings and rocks and just spam the camera around the corner.

Might watch the mercenary documentary later. I met a mercenary back in the mid 70s. Got talking to a fella in a bar. He had an engraved Zippo lighter with the Saudi coat of arms on it. He'd done a lot of work for them and was given it by a prince. I would have been about 18 so would have seemed exiting to me at the time. He said I shouldn't get to get to know him well as he had done some very bad things in his life. It was one of those meetings that you remember.

I had a friend who had been in some extra special bit of the army or what have you, I can't remember which bit. He was a really nice chap, great bloke, but his stories were a bit dark after a beer or 6. He'd also done "private security work" after leaving the forces. I don't see him much now, as he moved away after he beat his girlfriend and her dad up, and I don't think he has much contact with his toddler daughter.

Do you how many idiots I've met who bumped into "Bez" in a Manchester pub?

I was hoping that merc-doc was about the Rhodesian chap who purchased a Hind gunship and flew it as a gun-for-hire. Oh well, Iβll watch it regardless.
Hi everybody!
Gamesblog: PM is back on Skyrim, constantly fishing in it. Itβs not interesting to watch, as a third party.
TVblog: The Expanse, fifth series.
Tradesmenblog: chap came over yesterday to replace some blown bricks and fix some lead flashing. Due to me at 11am - didnβt arrive til 1pm. Classic.
