Did sheep forget about anthem? Everyone hopefully forgot about Howard doing anthem. I never played Anthem. I don't like online RPGs. By which I mean I don't play them. The timesink element tends to be too great. I struggle to finish a 30 hour game. I don't need games that want 30 hours a week. I'm suspicious online RPGs have a lot of busywok that feels ok minute by minute, but is just designed to keep you playing indefinitely Also the official verdict on Anthem was meh. |

My initial review (based on not having downloaded it yet) Dragon Age Veilguard It will be a beautiful but hideously bloated mess. Some good bits, but EA. So: crap in game purchases (The special edition is a few skins and 3 days early access for £20. No DLC included no extra bits = no purchase from me), change the bits that work for no apparent reason and bolt on shitty bits The shitty bits will be extra shitty. They've had 4 DA games to perfect them Bioware haven't released a properly good game since Mass Effect 2 (I mostly liked Mass Effect 3 to be fair at least until they took a great big dump at the end of it, but DA2, DAI, ME3, MEA have all been badly flawed in one way or another) But the DLC for Dragon Age Origins was exceptional - especially if you had the bad guy as a companion. I would like to play DAO on a modern console Four Stars Recommended. I just watched the trailer for this, I don't think showed any actual gameplay, just loads of cinematic scenes strung together. |

Our season is going pretty well*. Apart from one player. Big Dyksey is yet to score. He is on at the moment. I'm not quite sure about him.
* Not quite the points per game Aberdeen have, but we are top.
