Morning.
Windy and a bit damp.
But enough about me.
Last night we watched more The Righteous Gemstones.
I played some BLOPS6 on the laptop and Warzone on the PS5. I didn't have the controller plugged in when BLOPS started.
It defaulted to some weird movement with controller, aim with mouse thing. If I could get a stand for the controller and map this hybrid it might work. The aim with the mouse was so much better.
Who knew? WASD gives me sore paws.
I also watched a chunk of a 'Little' Louie Vega DJ mix from a festival in Barcelona.
Absolutely phenomenal stuff. He's known for big long seamless blends, and normally when DJs mix they avoid mixing two tracks with vocals together as it's easy to clash. He had two tracks running where track 2 was effectively being backing vocals to track one. So fucking talented.

Games - Lords of the Fallen. Quick go last night. Made it to the first boss, Pieta (hmmmm pie hmmmm) and got thoroughly thrashed to death. Tried using my helper (an NPC called the Iron Wayfarer) and got battered again, although he (the Iron Wayfarer) at least made a dent in Pieface's health bar this time, unlike me.

Does Kier Starmer have an actual tandoor? I can imagine him pressing the naan bread dough to the inside of the oven, then demonstrating he has no hair on his am because it’s been scorched off.
I don’t think it happens though. And I still think of him more like a startled butcher.

I baked a cake yesterday. The second cake I’ve baked in nearly twenty years.
It is a Dutch Apple Cake, and has turned out both well-baked AND delicious.
