I actually slept for more than 3 hours in a row last night and the trains have seats available now it's the summer holidays.
Watched a bit of Luke Cage, don't think much of season 2.
Edit - but the bit with Shades and his friend doing the stake out in the barber shop was genuine unexpected hilarity.

Morning all. Spitfire documentary was very good last night, recommend viewing for when it eventually appears on Netflix/Prime etc.

More Final Fantasy X, just beat Sanctuary Keeper and apparently very close to getting this done.
I don't feel like I'm levelled enough though, so back to the grind.

"Boosting tourism" is easier said than done, although, while their daughter was still small, friends of ours used to spend their holidays in Lebanon, and they always had a great time. Do you have the monster arena unlocked and a turbo pad? If so, the trick from 'back in the day' was to capture the first enemy for the arena (think it was the red wolf in Besaid), go to the arena, set X to turbo, have something weigh the button down and leave overnight. You would awaken to 99 sphere levels ready for populating. Morning All! Busy week or so for me so no doubt you've all been missing the updates of my gaming exploits, direct your complaints/ heartfelt thanks to National Grid. Not to worry, though, I'll catch you all up . . . Gaming wise, my time has been split between Sim City (2013) and WoW. The former gripped me hard again for some reason. It had it's faults at launch (still does have a fair few) but I still find it enjoyable enough. On the WoW front, pre- expac patch hit this morning, screwing up all the classes for the next few weeks. Fun times! TV wise, got caught up on a few series, finished others off. Still need to finish Jessica Jones and start Luke Cage. My Marvel fanboyism seems to be slipping. Suits is back today though! Not particularly looking forward to the new series, just can't see it working without Mike. Movies! Went to see Hereditary at the weekend. It was shit. Not particularly scary and a batshit ending that ruined an already disappointing film. (Half of) 4*'s. Edit: Congrats to your other half Scubes! |

Games - no.
Politics (sort of) - overhead my two primary school aged children mocking Donald Trump. Mainly for his appearance (hair and orange face) admittedly, but it made a nice change from Fortnite nonsense.
Lunch plans - chicken kiev (shop bought) and corn on the cob (also shop bought).
