I have downloaded PUBG, no idea when I will get to play it though as it’s the Tramlines festival in Sheffield this weekend.
Crank - on the Xbox PUBG is apparently much smoother and crash free now. It only cost £16 so no great tragedy if it’s not.
I watched After Earth with Will Smith and his son. His son was a terrible actor, like really bad.

Those are great photos, so clear. I remember having to go to an air show a few years ago, where they had the Lancaster bomber on show, it flew at about 10 miles an hour and even then my photos of it looked like the blurry monstrosities that show the loch Ness moster, is it a plane or a floating log.. |

They all seemed good shots, and I'm sure it's not easy capturing them as they move at speed. I would be tempted to photo shop a Death Star or the mother ship from Independence Day in the far distance though, to liven that blue sky up a bit. |

I was not the star of the show. Plus it would have necessitated swapping the lens for something a bit shorter and wider. Thanks! It isn't easy. It's quite physically challenging actually! I got home feeling like I'd spend the whole weekend at a driving range - arms aching, muscles that I never knew existed pulled in my back/waist/legs. And quite dehydrated to boot. The trick is in the panning, which becomes even trickier when you're slowing the shutter speed down to get blurred propellers... |

amipal I can imagine there must have been a certain amount of contortion, particularly with the stunt planes you've managed to get the shots of. I'm afraid most of that other technical stuff has gone over my head (like the planes.. boo), I'm going to put the pictures down to some sort of sorcery.

I remember going to the Waddingham air show as a kid and there was a Jaguar jet which broke the sound barrier which was cool. But getting out the site in the car was a real hassle which was made worse by the fact much of the road system was reserved for the "VIPs". I remember sitting there for hours in the heat whilst the Lords and officers went past.
That was the day little Babyfark knew there was no war but class war.

Yeah, always works a bit better with some clouds in there. Even better is getting them at takeoff or landing, getting some background blur from the panning. |
