Morning all. Do we reckon Cobblers has finished with his Sky Bet thread? If so I'll remove it. There are so many open questions that can never be answered if you remove the thread. Do you want to keep us awake at night?

I'm sure cobblers will turn up at some point to tell us what the hell his gripe is with Sky Bet.

Lunch: a Chicago Town Deep Dish pepperoni pizza. I'm not sure I fancy lunch, I found Tuffers' shorts very filling at breakfast.

PC gamers - I have a pc from 2012 I don't really use much these days (although it can still run Fortnite at 60FPS with some of the graphics toned down) . Is it worth buying a new graphics card (and if so please recommend one) for the setup below to get more use out of it or is it just not worth it?
Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 MD Piledriver FX-4 Quad Core 4300 3.80GHz AMD 760G Chipset 8GB DDR3 1600MHz 1TB HDD 550W 80+ Gold Rated PSU DX11 GFX OcUK DVD-RW 7.1 HD Audio Stock AMD Cooler

A new graphics card is likely going to require a new PSU and get bottle necked by your CPU anyway. Your memory is also a bit low on both GB and MHz. Just chuck it in the bin and have a nice steak instead.

I suspected as much, I just thought for the sake of a £150 or so graphics card I could get it running Fortnite at around the same standard as the Xbox One, it's not that far off as it is.

Where's Simon from Norwich when you need him?
Lunch: leftover pasta in a tomato sauce, with garlic chicken and cannellini beans.

I'll probably have to do this in a few years but at the moment I tend to use the PS4 for games.

I think I'll probably bow out of PC gaming for the foreseeable future as the Xbox will keep me going and I will no doubt buy the new Xbox or PS when it comes out. It was really only the Elder Scroll games that I used my PC for previously, all the others I am happy to play on console with a controller. If I am flushed for cash in 4 or 5 years I may dip my toe with a mid-price rig, but we'll see.

Does it have blast processing? How many more times more powerful is it than the last one?

If you can add to that a story about the military buying these in bulk because the processor is so powerful, I think the set up is fine as it is.

Maybe when you’re sending a death threat about butterflies in a game, you might be the bad guy.

In wiser times, anyone blathering on like this would have been brained with a shovel and flung into the nearest institution for the containment of idiots. I blame thatcher.

Babyfark,
All I played on the PC was Football Manager 2011/Any TW game and Xcom. Oh, Divinity Original Sin. I haven't got the spare cash to get a rig. I'm saving my pennies for a set of chainmail.
