I feel like my interest in games has evaporated completely. Well not completely - I’d like to download Neo-Atlas 1496, for the Switch, but it’s ... expensive. It seems radically priced, for what is. The wheel turns once more... I know what you mean. My gaming is stymied by limited time, time which is being pulled on by photography and television programmes and social events. I really only have a coupe of hours an evening max, and at the moment they're solely devoted to photos! |

I think this is quite normal. Not the excessive interest in photos.
Rather the waxing and waning of interest in games.
At the moment I am paying quite a bit, but I barely touched a game for large parts of last year.
Eventually a game comes along that will spark your interest.

Morning all. It’s too fucking hot and there’s not enough fucking online rage. I’m not JerryAtrick, but it is the sort of nonsense I’d write. I similarly don’t understand why Sheep hasn’t organised a clandestine violent protest movement, or perhaps he has and the clandestine bit is particularly effective.
I see the Sky Bet thread wasn’t just locked but was super-FRANKED out of existence. Worrying times, but I suppose the ongoing war against Eastasia requires that.

Earlier today our management sent out a 'Coping with heat stress at work' document, which some sci-fi nerd at HSE has denoted as INDG451.
I have asked if maybe we can wear shorts, as recommended, and am waiting for senior management to come up with a reason as to why this is not acceptable.... The last time this happened a few years back, one of the engineers ended up coming to work in a nice strappy summer dress he'd borrowed off his wife, which when combined with his toe-tectors ensured he was both cool and compliant with both the dresscode and the safety regulations.
I am worried that I may have made myself the poster-boy for a similar rebellion this time around, although I reckon I could carry this off...

I’ve just taken delivery of a new wetsuit. Pop a bag full of Party Ice (TM) in it and you’ve got ideal summer office attire with a high SPF factor.

Lunch: a fresh croissant from the Co-op, sliced open, and then melted some mature cheddar in there. Popped in some treacle &a ale ham, and that was one heck of a delicious lunch.
