Morning
Games! - None, although feeling a bit of pump to get back into the revamped No Mans Sky having sacked it off some time ago. Elite is also calling, but as I've not played since the Thargoids first contact i'm probably gonna have my arse royally handed back to me. I still have 200 million credits to splurge on something shiny unless the galactic bank has crashed during my break.
OTTM - I have just applied for a new job, despite telling my boss yesterday that I wasn't going to. This may or may not end well. I am blaming the heat and the bloodmoon... with portents of doom such as these it is just the right time to go for a new job. Right?

When we next update the Top 5 Bellends list, can I put forward the cleric beast. The big sack of shit.

Morning Played 40 minutes or so of new No Man's Sky this morning. Started a new game in Creative Mode to let me remember the controls and to pootle around without worrying about lack of resources. I'm really enjoying it so far. Is there a good amount of variation between what you find on the planets in terms of alien life and terrain?

Why would you play a game you didn't like twice? First time, I rushed through it because I loved FFX and wanted to see 'the story'. After which, I read that there was a 'secret' ending if you 100% it. Unfortunately, the chapter structure of the game meant that 100%ing after completion meant starting from scratch. Afterwards I wished I'd just read about the 'secret' ending. It was very disappointing.

Shenguin Stay away from Small Heath during the Blood Moon. It is a struggling enough area anyway. It doesn't need Shenguin the Ripper to move in. This also applies to Bordesley and Bordesley Green. You can go to Saltley or Nechells if you must I suppose. Last time I was in Nechells a terrible rubbish landfill smell hung in the air. What I'm saying is that as far as I know the people of Nechells have been punished enough and don't deserve this fate either.

I'm really enjoying it so far. Is there a good amount of variation between what you find on the planets in terms of alien life and terrain? Difficult to say as I've only explored a couple of planets in the new update so far. However, this is what the release notes say about flora and fauna: EXPLORATION, FAUNA AND FLORA New underground ruins building type Buried technology modules and blueprint analysis Overhauled signal booster and navigation data input Procedurally generated technology Procedurally generated products Improved creature pathfinding Improved creature response to feeding Herd behaviour for creatures Improved scales and maximum sizes of creatures Improved sentinel drone behaviour, proximity indicator and escape gameplay Improved matching of creature body parts to their role Coprite improvements New hazardous fauna New hazardous flora Improved scan ranges for biome specific plants Added new armoured drone type Must use the terrain editor to mine resource deposits Improved Colossus speed and fuel tanks / consumption Different ship classes use different amounts of launch fuel New name generation system for planets / ships / weapons / creatures Increased variety in creature descriptions Nada + Polo’s tasks are now tracked in the Mission Log Fancier descriptions for planetary weather conditions Changed starting Exosuit inventory size Increased the number of Exosuit cargo slots available to purchase Increased crafted item stack size in the Exosuit to 5 TL;DR: Probably

A special mention for the Cleric Beast, but he still doesn't quite make the list.

Now I feel like I've been too mean. Tuffers didn't deserve that. Oh well, I suppose I should try to learn a lesson from that.

Last night I was enjoying my Caesar salad that I'd managed to obtain despite the lettuce draught and Shenguin eating all the lettuce, with new potatoes, smoked salmon and dijonnaise(sp?) sauce with some white wine. It could only go downhill from there, as afterwards I read about the government stockpiling food, medicine and medical supplies in case of a 'no-deal' Brexit, while prominent Brexiters are predicting that the benefits of Brexit will be obvious by the time my granddaughter is considering retirement. It is at this point that I would have thought it a no-brainer to call the whole thing off.
I played more Paths of the Octogenarians, finished Primrose's first chapter. I particularly liked it when she says what we all had been thinking since the beginning of her story, just less politely: "Master... go pleasure yourself." Also finished a side quest by beating up another sex pest as Olberic. A satisfying game.

I'm assuming you've omitted ed sheeran from the list as he's in a separate category all by himself

My pal met Tuffers in a pub about 10 years ago and confirmed that he is indeed a bellend. Worse than Steve Bannon apparently.
