Morning folks.
Off today watching the child. She's got a playdate this afternoon which is fine. Except the person bringing the school friend isnt her parent, but a 16yr old relative. What am I going to chat to a 16yr old girl about? I've not heard the Drake album.
Games. Had a look at the new GTA dlc. Some of it looks good/fun. But they're honestly trying to nerf the game so folk buy red dead 2 or tons of shark cards. There's an oppressor 2 coming that hovers and has better rockets than the deluxo. There's also a new moc that can target 5 vehicles at a time. Griefer-tastic.

So, I played Yakuza 6 for a bit last night and managed to have my first big battle with JUSTIS and met Okada (which I totally marked out for) but I had a real need to go back to Final Fantasy.
I started X-2 and what the actual fuck is that?

I watched the first episode of Good Girls last night, not too bad so far. Some Final Space on the train and no games.
I actually slept well last night as it was a bit cooler.
I think I will get No Mans Sky in a month or so, looks like the game has been relatively well received so far on the Xbox.

WHY I warned you. It's a dress up game disguised as a FF. Piss poor and more 'missables' than any game I've played since. I suffered through it twice. Once on release and then once again, with a guide, to avoid missing anything and get the 'proper ending', which ended up ruining the first game too. Morning! Games! A bit more Earthlock. It passes an hour or so and is mildly entertaining. Which is still more than any other game is at the moment. I do think I've got to the root of my problem though. I need a Switch. Once I purchase one my brain will probably allow me to enjoy other games again. Stupid brain. OTTM! None. Didn't see my little friend yesterday. Hope s/he's ok. |

Stay away from Small Heath during the Blood Moon.
It is a struggling enough area anyway. It doesn't need Shenguin the Ripper to move in.
This also applies to Bordesley and Bordesley Green.
You can go to Saltley or Nechells if you must I suppose.

TV: Last Chance U. Hopelessly addicted, though still feels a lot more contrived than the earlier series and the coach is still a nob.
Yoga: my second class of Guantanamo stress positions. Next week we are chanting as well. The only chants I know contain actionable allegations about the private lives of various Scottish footballers, but they are quite meditative.

Played 40 minutes or so of new No Man's Sky this morning. Started a new game in Creative Mode to let me remember the controls and to pootle around without worrying about lack of resources.
I'm really enjoying it so far.
