Also Pub Jim.
Also slumming it in spoons, but that counts as upper middle class where I live. Then off to local poncy pub where the beer costs £6 a pint but actually tastes of something other than the 900 year old pipework.

I have cooked a chicken and rice dish. I don't know what it's called.
I'll just call it Chicken and Rice.

Cup of tea and an Eccles cake. All the major good groups. Good groups = Tea, cake, cooked breakfast, dinner for two, spirits Bad groups = Overpriced beer, disappointing office Christmas party food, last sandwich on the shelves

I've just been through a painful GAS situation.
Gear Acquisition Syndrome.
Sony A7 full-frame camera, with kit lens, going for £719 on Amazon. Absolutely do not need it, as more than happy with my current camera set up.
But dang, that price...

I take exception to the insinuation. We bloody well invented rampant capitalism, I'll have you know.

Plenty of wankholes in Glasgow/Edinburgh that are verging on £6 pint. The real wankholes are now serving schooners. Less beer for more money. Great.

It's understandable in BrewDog as the beer is a lot stronger. But with normal 5% lager it's taking the piss.

Shove-it-in-the-oven dinner: Chicken Cordon Bleu, tats and veg. Gives me time to throw frying pans at rocks made of hard cheese in Mario.

Just had fajitas for dinner. Lovely lovely fajitas. What's everyone else having? My daughter is insisting that the audiologist that came to do a talk in school about ears is in fact an archaeologist. Just had the fromagemas(sp.) From Byron. A burger with maybe 4 cheeses and then a cheese sauce to pour over. great at the time, now feel violently ill. 4 's
