What happened to Tent Hen? Was she bullied out? I'm just going to assume it was all shenguin's fault. Yep. She made up some obvious lie about going to Germany for a bit, and there’s no internet in Germany. I remember some German guys I met at the Sega Megadrive championships telling me there is no free wifi in Germany in public places. Cool story etc...

She's left Little Red Rooster home alone, presumably trying to figure out how to open the fridge door

But then I'm assuming that was because when you went to the championships it was 1992 and there was no internet?

Football I would describe Blues as somewhat disappointing. This is bearing in mind I did not have very high expectations to start with. I thought Boro were mostly pretty good. Assombalonga would annoy me. He has all the attributes to be a really good player, but mostly he is a bit crap. However he did set up and take his goal nicely. He then missed a string of much easier chances. If he could be more consistent he'd be a pretty good player.
On the basis off two game I don't think Blues will be troubling the top six. it will be as much as we can do to trouble the top 6 of the bottom half of the table.
In a way it is quite impressive to have smashed the Profitability and Sustainability rules yet remain quite so terrible.
On the plus side I am going to Reading tomorrow. They are pretty terrible as well so we may have a chance there.

Morning!
The hot summer has done wonders for my fig tree, which is now giving me a half dozen tender froots each morning. This is starting to have 'effects' on my digestion, maybe scarfing them raw is not the safest option. Suggestions?
Games! Completed Edith Finch, though missed a couple of achievements so might go back to replay certain levels. Still punped to restart No-Mans Sky, but the missus got laid off last week, so gaming time is reduced.
OTTM - Decided to go for a promotion at work - sod it. My presentation on the evolution of the OSI model managed to also debunk god, and contained a recipe for a bloody mary. This may or may not have helped things.... results in 2 weeks
Eggmayo and bacon sarnie, cheese scone, snickers, no figs

What did you think of Edith Finch? I really liked it but not sure there was enough there to justify a second playthrough. I think I'd have preferred it if you could choose which order to do each story in. It was a bit too linear.

Our cats very kindly left us a present of a dead mouse on our bedroom floor this morning.
I don't think we were sufficiently grateful.

I think I'd have preferred it if you could choose which order to do each story in. It was a bit too linear. I enjoyed it, and when completed then it opens the option to replay the chapters in any order - I agree about the linear progress, although first time playing I wasn't sure if I was following the only path, or just the one i'd selected.
Overall it was darker than i'd expected, with the injured seal, and drowning Gregory in the bath quite disturbing, without being the normal horror tropes, but sometimes it seemed to skim over some of the stories and i'd have expected more of the 'family curse' aspect to have unravelled at the end. A full replay would only need 4-5 hours probably, so in the right setting i'd go for it

Ladies and gentlemen, can I please have your attention. I've just been handed an urgent and horrifying news story. I need all of you to stop what you're doing and listen.
Our lawn is being laid today!

As a country bumpkin, cobblers is well aware of just how versatile the humble chicken is. Amazing creatures.

Maybe it's the alter ego of the other one. Chad StokeNewington-Avocado or whatever he calls himself.
