What did you think of Edith Finch? I really liked it but not sure there was enough there to justify a second playthrough. I think I'd have preferred it if you could choose which order to do each story in. It was a bit too linear. I enjoyed it, and when completed then it opens the option to replay the chapters in any order - I agree about the linear progress, although first time playing I wasn't sure if I was following the only path, or just the one i'd selected.
Overall it was darker than i'd expected, with the injured seal, and drowning Gregory in the bath quite disturbing, without being the normal horror tropes, but sometimes it seemed to skim over some of the stories and i'd have expected more of the 'family curse' aspect to have unravelled at the end. A full replay would only need 4-5 hours probably, so in the right setting i'd go for it
Yeah the bath sequence was harrowing. You know what's going to happen but can't do anything to stop it.

It looks like there are a few soap dodgers and hydrophobes running away from here in horror.

Sheep is one of the few prisoners who can bend over and pick up the soap in the shower without attracting the attention of Mammory Mick the Murderer.
It’s a skill you learn doing hard time at St Andrews.

Now, normally I would never share anything from the Daily Heil as it is a hateful rag full of lies, but this was such peak DM I feel I must. Woman from the UK complains about too many Spaniards in her hotel...in Spain. Spanish hotel full of Spaniards

I had a few beers and then pointed out the flaws in some people's argument against the "The Last Jedi", the major one is, if you use "SJW" as your point you're a cunt.
I loved the film and there are lots of things one can pick at, from my point of view they don't matter.
If you don't like the film, fine, just let it go, no one's childhood was ruined, the original films still exist, (though GL did his best to ruin them).
I am currently listening to "Jagged Little Pill"

One person was complaining about too many Germans, to me that is perfect because on holiday I only talk to the PM, waiters and bar staff, perfect

Chumbles hasn't posted on this forum so far as I can recall*, though he did register. I searched for him on WebDiplomacy and he last logged in yesterday. So he's still alive. If you call it living. *EDIT: A single post back in October, when he registered.
