I was the only one here who had a job at uni wasn't I? Why would you need a job? The grant was enough for me.

Did Loan Wilf ghost write this for you?
Also, £1725 the wee cunt?! Fucking Edinburgh man, fucking entitled shitbags. Fucking Edinburgh.
Since I can't be bothered to register, what's the gist? Some shitty excuse for a newspaper has plucked one "random" guy at uni who is fortunate enough to have a scholarship and that combined with his loan gives him just £1725 a month to live off. He then proceeds to tell people how he can live off such a small amount.

Having read it closer, he really isn't complaining. Just explains how he spends his money, he even seems to be quite grateful at the loan being a "9% tax because he'll never pay it off."
You can kick uni students for many things, but being fortunate for what they get at university isn't one of them. It's costing them £50 grand, significantly more than most of the people here paid.

Both stacked up against the wall at the same time, single bullet. £1725 a month not enough for two bullets? Have you tried improving your budgeting?

I had a great uni job, working for William Hill. Just at the start of late night opening, could pick what shifts I wanted to work, always had Saturday and Sunday work and double time on bank holidays.
Before that it was pubs and fast food. McDonalds was the hardest job I’ve ever had.
I was also lucky enough to have a grant for all but my last year at Uni. Then work paid for my Masters.

Hearing in my left ear is still virtually non-existent, been shoving Oxtex down it regularly. I'm going to try an ear candle today then in the likely event that makes no difference to the doctor I go. You're supposed to take the octet bottle top off and pour the liquid in yer ear.fixed that for you

Yo, yo, yo. Up at a friend's looking at his malware laden pc and been at another pals for dinner. Thai curry, Wine, beer. No switch. Chatting.
2nd last train home. Hopefully Mrs Crank in bed. Quick PS4 shot to try a new car glitch.
Uni chat. Going in England from Scotland got me travel expenses up/down every term which seemed to annoy chums from England as they never got it. Also, signing on in the summer saying you weren't going back got you dole money & housing benefit. Just about enough to get by on.

School/uni job chat:
I used to sell programmes at white hart lane, the Emirates and sometimes Stamford bridge.
£40+ for 3 hours work dependent on commission and I got to watch spurs matches for free! If you add £40-50 for a spurs ticket on top of pay, it's probably still the best paying job I've ever had.
