Games: more 50v50 Fortnite with Sheep. We did well. We are the best at reviving fallen teammates. Not so hot at the shooting accurately.

Argh. That's all I've got.
Now that we have a lawn, I spent the morning assembling a hose reel - just the thing you want to do first thing when you've barely woken up.
The new lawn requires a 20 minute spray in the morning and evening for the next two weeks. I'd recommend you all to invest in Southern Water.

GAMES: Mafia III. Why do I keep playing this. Its sub-GTA nonsense. Its like I hate myself and keep coming to places that make me unhappy and that are a bit shi...*looks around* oh. OH!
Grans Tiramisu: Bathurst Mount Panarama is a hell of a track, a hell of a track. Getting the right car for this is absolute key, it can't be too slow, as there are two massive straights and two shorter straights. On the other hand, it can't be too speed only, as the technical section is windy and very tight and any straight line warrior is going to get annihilated.
I started 13/19 after having a mare of a qualifying, just couldn't get a good lap hooked up. That's not too much of a bother here though, because although its a hard track to pass on, someone in front of you WILL make a mistake, and as long as you just have a calm race and don't do anything overly fancy you'll almost certainly gain places.
Not much to report from my race there really, I did as I said above. Kept it calm and clean. Touched the walls a couple of times through the technical section and I went wide at Forrest's Elbow (turn 18) once, but other than that it was just keeping my nose clean. At Hell Corner (turn 1) I got overtaken on lap 3 or 4, but I saw it coming and, although I was basically just letting him through, the guy well overegged it and went flying right into the gravel. I held off a couple of idiots who thought that trying to pass going into The Cutting (turns 3 and 4) was a good idea (its really, really not. Unless the car you are passing is utterly compliant, you WILL hit the wall. I was not, they did)
I finished 7th in the end and got within a couple of seconds of the fastest lap, so I was happy enough with that.

Morning all!
More Mafia 3 and I'm the exact same. I absolutely hate playing it but then a song comes on that I enjoy and that's me.
I turned it off last night and sat and played Octopath Traveller. I'm stuck fighting some massive boss guy and I just can't do it.

I'd like to say Mafia 3 gets better as it progresses, but it doesn't. It just stays the same. You repeat the same mission over and over until eventually it ends.
Good soundtrack though.

I was in good form on Fortnite last night, largely because I was playing quite late and it was mostly the drunk and the elderly online. I was perched in a bush on a hill taking shots at people in Tilted Towers when a player saw me and ran up behind my bush and pointed a shotgun at my head, expecting imminent death I came out the bush and got a shot of my own off and then this guy amazingly went into crouch mode and started slowly walking around the hill. I promptly finished him off and went to get 4th or something.

I spent an hour watching clips of 9 out of 10 Cats does Countdown.
I reckon the clips are better than the actual episodes.

I don't think I did anything fitting the description given by Baby last night. I did at one point get into a muddle, tried to defend myself with a health pack, then switched to build mode. Finally I gave up and skipped away in terror and incompetence. Remarkably, I survived. It's possible I was neither young nor sober.

Fortnite
I am the best. Well maybe not the best, but right up there among the best of the fifth raters.
I did not try offering an armour pack while I was being shot at.
Nor did I discuss blueprints with the enemy.
I did manage to become designated survivor by infiltrating enemy territory, getting behind all of them and approaching the circle slowly from the wrong side. By the time I got there my entire team was dead. I did the right thing and hid.
I did get 3 kills in solo. One was seemingly unarmed 10 minutes into a game.
I also got a kill with 0 hits and 0 damage to the enemy. He was building an impressive, but foolishly high path to the safe area and I removed 1 brick from it. There was a satisfying amount of destruction. I finished second in that game as well. As close to winning as being shotgunned repeatedly in the face is to killing someone.

Morning all,
No games last night. I did play football.
I'd go into it in some detail, but I can't be arsed. I scored a cracker into the top right corner, but we lost so...
Then came the drinking. Ho boy. The drinks in the bar at the power league are £3 a pint, in london. Needless to say I got hammered for just over a £20 note.
This is fine when we used to play Thursdays, but Mondays? Nope.
I threw up this morning before work and am seeing double. KFC is calling.
