The other place has just put out an article about the women in Dr Who, I'm sure the comments will be well thought out and reasonable

The other place has just put out an article about the women in Dr Who, I'm sure the comments will be well thought out and reasonable I can't be bothered to read through all the well thought out and reasonable comments. I stopped watching shortly before Peter Capaldi came on. No particular reason, just didn't have the time, Lord. I liked Martha Jones, I guess? Should really try and catch up some day.

Capaldi was really good, the first season was hit and miss, but he just got better and I am looking forward to Jodi Whittaker

I thought Capaldi brilliant in the role, but the standard of writing and plotting generally poor in his time. The final season with him was probably the best, but I watched it more out of compulsion than enjoyment.
I am looking forward to the new doctor.
Had it got an air date yet?

The PM is away until Friday so I've just roasted a chicken and some potatoes for dinner, nothing else needed bar a glass of wine

Dinner, probably needs other stuff Needs something green? I like the exact measurements in the background. Dinner tonight is warming up the contents of a tin, opening a pickle jar and frying an egg. Yes, tonight we are having Labskaus. Mr Tent Rooster fell in love with it shortly after falling in love with me. Surprising, really*, as we use to say that it begs the question: "Are you eating this or have you already eaten this?" In my neck of the woods proper Matjes is a key ingredient that's difficult to source here, and most people do not understand the difference between a rollmops and a bismarckhering, so I smuggled two tins of the finest Hamburg labskaus in my suitcase. *him falling for the dish, not for the Tent Hen

I'm guessing the fried egg rescues it.
