I was trying to say that I've got one of those electric tennis racquets from Aldi for persistant flies. Why? Because I am a monster who must be stopped. What I'm taking away from this post is that you are a monster that must be stopped with an electric tennis racquet. I'm off to Aldi.

Cat putput, some sort of infectious disease, and an insect infestation? Welcome back to England Tent Hen.

What kind of country have I returned to? Broken Brexit Britain. Still, it could be worse. You are right, I'll take cold Summer Bank Holiday weather and an invasion of wasps any time over the citizens' right to shoot up a place and themselves because they are such sore losers that they got mad over losing at Madden NFL 19.

What I'm taking away from this post is that you are a monster that must be stopped with an electric tennis racquet. I'm off to Aldi. Might of been Lidl, not sure, my 75 year old neighbour bought on my behalf. His advice? 'Don't do what I did and test it on your tongue, it really hurt'. With age comes wisdom (or not).

Still, I'm pleased with my haircut and in NO WAY trying to get to 250 posts. No siree...

Morning all!
Thanks to terrible weather and a teething-toddler, this bank holiday weekend's activity schedule is completely blank.
Finished Discenchantment last night, then switched the TV off and read. Read! Just polishing off China Miéville'a Three Moments of an Explosion.

Why not buy a book at Waterstones and then just go and put it back in the shelf? Or an archival storage system goo.gl/images/y9j94R

We've got shelves like that in our work basement for reserve stock. Preferred the rickety ones in the old place where you had to jam a bit of wood between them to stop getting crushed to death...

So we’re staying in here then? This fetid box, still stinking of the weekends activities.

So we’re staying in here then? This fetid box, still stinking of the weekends activities. This is about the cat's putput again, isn't it? You can't have a fresh box on a bank holiday Monday. It still feels like the weekend with its stinking activities. (It also befits my sense of confusion after sleeping for 24 hours. In any case, I only learned that it was a bank holiday weekend from the pilot who so kindly flew us to Birmingham with only some minor bumps on the way. He mentioned it to me as I was leaving the aircraft, otherwise I wouldn't have known.)

I'd noticed that as well. It's the same with Keza's article on The most exciting video games of autumn 2018 preview. It's almost as if they don't care what we think.

I refuse! How would anyone want to publish an article without the benefit of my valuable opinion? That really hurt my feelings.
