Tried the opening of Destiny 2. Quite liked it, has a Mass Effect 2/3 feel about it. Plus the game tells you what to do and why, unlike the original.

I came 2nd at Fortnite again. Oh and went to a wedding full of doctors, which was as boring as it sounds. And finally, my team are winning the football ( go Imps!).

Simon Parkin there, reviewing Dead Cells, and this time they've given it a spot on the main games page. www.theguardian.com/games/2018/sep/01/dead-cells-review-motion-twinI just saw it today doing very well on the e-shop sales charts. It has profited from the IGN plagiarism scandal, no doubt, but I'd like to think that it's thriving on its own merits - after all, the plagiarised review was very positive. Is Simon the only one these days reviewing games like that? I was struck today by how many interesting looking indie games there are on the e-shop that I would like a brief review for. I was putting a lot of games on my 'watch list', downloaded the Monster Hunter demo (of course I'm going to get the whole game one day. Oh cursed backlog!), bought Okami HD (because one just has to) and bought Syberia 2 and something called Moon Hunters because they were on offer and the latter features characters with Sumerian names. That sort of thing has my support.

Great day out above 7000ft hiking, a little snow but gone by lunch. No big mammals but lots of prints. Planning a day of Xbox tomorrow and figuring the trade in.

Plymouth. Plymouth never changes. A land with no light and no hope. Every other person is a muppet.

Hello, am waiting for my last train to be on my way to Budapest. Bratislava was lovely but a massive thunderstorm and public holiday kind of put a stop to our exploring plans. We saw a couple of bits and went to a nice pub instead.
I recently discovered you can now get Rome:Total War for phones, so I downloaded that and thrashed the Gauls yesterday. Might turn it around and play as the Gauls next time.

Still got 4 yr old. Now waiting vets to open as dog had fit/seizure in the night. Proper scary as never had one before. I've suffered many non-epileptic brain seizures in my sleep in the past (not for the last 2 years, thankfully) and I would say this. I didn't know anything about them, it's the significant others who witness them who worry. Mine were quite violent. You do 'come round' and think: Why have I got a broken wrist? Why are my feet covered in blood? The last one left me with permanent tinnitus in the left ear. My neurologist did originally warn me that if they continued I would be left with brain damage. So, tinnitus is a small price to pay (so far). It's bloody annoying, though. Sorry for the rant, but I empathise with your and many others situations. Hope the dog recovers well.

Back from vets. He doesn't think fit or seizure as there was no shaking, and heart/ gums/ temp/ eyes all normal. Taken some bloods for a fits and faints test and will get the exults in the week. Child has been farmed out temporarily at a car boot, and will be back in time for swimming later.

Child has been temporarily put in a car boot, and will be back in time for swimming later. FTFY. With some crisps and a glass bottle of pepsi, (s)he'll be fine. Hope the dug is ok. Just had granny's lentil soup for lunch. By that I mean Mrs Cranks mums lentil soup. Not the muck in cans.

Well, that was as crushingly disappointing as ever. Hopefully Shenmue will heal my suffering.

I hope things work out for the dog Gong.
I have been recovering from yesterday's wedding (no baggies were given out unfortunately) and have been to the park with the kid in the fine weather. Off out soon for an evening of drinking around Kelham Island.
Played a bit of PUBG, the combat is like moving through treacle. Awful.

Writing a reference for a student, deadline tomorrow midnight. Normally I'd do it at the 11th hour, but I've got plans for tomorrow.

Hope the Dog is ok. I might go home and cry in a bit in case it isn't.

I hope Dog is ok too.
My dog has been left with my parents, and has taken the opportunity to brush up on her escapology skills.

I watched Hardcore Henry so you don’t have to. It was a solid three stars.
I’m now watching the Godzilla anime.
