Skyrim chat killed it. Probably for the best.
I’m off to grab a Chinese.

Shirley you can't get a close enough shave between the eyebrows? That there area is ripe for plucking. I'll give plucking a go next time I run out of batteries for my trimmer and petrol for my cosmetic flamethrower. How did you know my name was Shirley?

10 spicy chicken wings from my local chicken shop.
3 out of 5 hygiene rating. You can't get better than that.

Dinner chat? You monsters, I am still at work because my colleagues are absolute zoomers. Does shenguin run your IT? Baked potatoes with hummus/houmous & cheese. Early dinner as child at Rainbows. I need to price some fencing and speak to the guy who's garden backs onto ours. He fixed the fence without asking and I need to go offer him money. I've never spoken to him and we've been here nearly 4 years.

Crank - is it the side of fence your responsible for? I remember when I had a council house next to me and the fence they had to maintain was down after two years, was still down when I moved out.

Just catching up with BakeOff. Luke is out, but fortunately Paul did not suggest that he should take a good hard look at himself in the mirror.

Dinner? I wish. I suppose later, after I managed to compose myself, for, reader, I ordered the wrong size of base. (I got confused because the bed - which we bought from IKEA a long time ago - is now considered a non-standard continental size, and that size was available for one type of base, but not for the other that I wanted. I squarely blame Brexit. In no way am I a complete idiot who should be joining Shenguin on his one-way flight to Zurich.)
My house is now a ruin because all afternoon I have been dropping f-bombs left, right and centre. At least I managed to reconstruct the bed so that we will have somewhere to sleep tonight.

Crank - is it the side of fence your responsible for? It's between our two properties on the edge. I'd say it's both our responsibility unfortunately. The pieces of fencing he's replaced range in price from 26 to 80 quid. He's done 2 and theres another half made in his garden. He has a dog hence wanting it fixed probably. Also I dunno if he did it himself or got someone in. I've tried to catch his eye / say hi when he's out the back smoking a joint - but he's always moved out of view. Understandable really.

Fortunately I'm playing Octodad Dadliest Travel Advice, so I haven't got time for either. Yesterday I finally stopped being distracted by side quests and optional dungeons and finished Therion's 2nd chapter. Now there's a bunch of easy fetch quests, sigh. Have to played enough to deliver a definitive verdict on Octopus Troubler? Not that I have a Switch, just hoping it's shite because I don't. I'm sorry to disappoint you, I'm now 50 hrs in and I still love it, although it's by no means a perfect game. The way that game looks and its phenomenal musical score never get old. I've just come out of a dungeon, and the way the light of the torches is reflected in the water looks simply incredible. The combat is always entertaining, so I never had an issue with grinding. I will say though that my main character has had a passive skill equipped pretty much from the beginning that lowers the party's enemy encounter rate, and I don't know how tedious it could get without that. There are quite a lot of optional dungeons and a lot of side quests. The latter tend to be relatively banal, but a few can be extremely obscure (although it seems that there are also multiple solutions). One of the main challenges is keeping track of all the information about dozens and dozens of NPCs. Spreadsheets à la Crank may be advisable. I can't really say anything about the stories yet except that they are all wildly different but somehow interesting, although cut scenes go on for a veeerrry long time and the writers really love using ellipses (...). The voice acting is mostly good. Once you've started chapter 2 there's quite delightful banter between your party members, but it depends on the characters in your party. There's a lot of optional content that I'm trying to take in which is why I'm not that advanced in the main story yet. What's good is that there are clearly many different ways to play the game. Sorry. But even if you don't have a Switch, maybe the positive reception of OT that seems to have taken the big cheeses at Squeenix by surprise might result in them commissioning more games like that and bringing them to all consoles? One can dream (...).

Dogblog - Yay we have her back! She has a bald leg and a reverse Mohawk from the spinal tap... I feel I should join her and get the wax strips and Nicky Clark clippers out... maybe one for tomorrow there.
Here comes the science bit...
She has an autoimmune disease, meningoencephalitis of unknown origin (MUE), which causes pressure in the skull hence the seizures. Treatment planned is 3 months chemo so she is feeling like shit right now, but has stopped fitting. Her immune system has been suppressed so she is vulnerable to anything and we can't even let her lick us. Her jobbies also are classed as a biohazard, and she is on steroids so better warn the postman.

Wow. Hope everything works out. (And particularly hope you have pet insurance...)
In other news I am watching 16 Blocks on TCM+1.
It's okay. 4 stars.

Thankfully yes, especially as the surgeons carpark was full of range rovers and a Bentley convertible.
