Games: Fallout 4 and Civ V. I really only mooched around in either.

Games: bit more FF7. Made it to the gold saucer. It's probably a good time to start looking at which characters, equipment, materia I should be using as I've pretty much relied on the basics so far.
TV: the first 3 episodes of The Sinner on Netflix. Not bad, not bad.
Tonight I'm off to see Royal Blood. I'm not a massive fan but At The Drive-In are the support, and I never got to see them back in the day. Win

Morning!
Managed to fix the Witcher bug by reinstalling the game, so I am now back in business with the Blood and Wine DLC. I’m quite glad about that too because Toussaint is a marvellous place, very different to the other areas in the game. Four stars.

Morning,
Grabbed the Steep: Road to Olympics beta last night and mooched about on a snowboard. They've got rails now you can grind. Did they add that to the original after the moaning? Will need to take a look.
Then far too late i shoved on Fallout 4. Got the suit off the roof. More of the first raiders, mole rats down a drain and the first deathclaw. Still getting used to the controls and what pip boy does. Died a few times. Remembered I had the gattling gun so should probably use that on the claw.

At the Drive in are a support band to a band I've never heard off? Weak. You’d have to be living under a rock to have not heard of Royal Blood, but it is still outrageous that At the Drive-in are opening for them. There again, the new ATDI album is fucking rubbish so maybe they deserve it. |

HumOfEvil recommended Hob yesterday. Looked at the reviews for it and plunged straight in. Great little game, got totally lost at one point and had to resort to YouTube to get my bearings again. It reminds me of playing Oddworld Abe's Odyssey from twenty years ago. Thanks for the recommend

I got that Xenoblade chronicles 2 last night, the one with the young lady with the improbably massive *ahem* *ahem* breasts *ahem*. It’s basically a sex game.
Seriously though it seems quite good and it’s always nice to have a meaty JRPG to hand.

Played Twilight Struggle against my regular opponent last night, I was the US, he was the Soviets. We got to late war, turn 9 before I beat him. He had me worried about turn 3, when he was 9 VP ahead, which is about the tipping point for the Soviets going in to Mid-War, but I held on with a lucky cancelling of the Middle East scoring card (which would have put him on around 14 or 15 vp since he had a tight hold there I was unable to break), and then 2 hands in a row that were heavily to my advantage. From turn 7 onwards it was a foregone conclusion really as I had the advantage in 4/6 regions, it was pretty much drawn in Europe and he held the Middle East. My VP went up in bursts and then I scored more Military Operations than he did on turn 9 to clinch the final 2 VP I needed.
Its a great game, a real mind bender, keeps you on your toes the whole way through.
Authentic Cold War gibberish.

Thanks for the replies, have got HZD dlc to go but will look up persona and FFXII. No games last night, just caught up on the last star trek and an episode of the expanse. Do all sci-fi shows have the same theme at the same time?

I don't see how that whole sequence could be any clearer sign-posted! First time I did that bit, the deathclaw got stuck in the trench. Easy pickings. |

I’ve just remembered that at the weekend I was at the ice rink at Somerset House drinking hot booze and this guy standing next to me held up his phone to Shazam Footloose.

I went to the gym for the first time in *mumbles* weeks last night. Then managed a quick burst on Wardor. An outpost mission and a couple of captains.
