I played Fortnite duos with my brother last night, we nearly won the first game and it was us vs one guy at the end. But I fell of a mountain and my brother battled bravely but to no avail. We took out quite a few other duos through the night (the top tactic being not to stray too far from one another and land in the far away corners) and had a few top 5 finishes. Was so intense I only managed one beer.
Off to Beachy Head tomorrow.

We considered Brighton but there doesn't seem to be a lot going on there on Saturday. I am hoping for a great suicide stand off where I can turn up and shout "do it you coward, just do it you pansy!" |

Morning! lonewolf, it was at the Gateshead Sage. Czech National Orchestra doing the score. And yes, everyone only ever remembers the main theme, but they play every bit of music that you generally don't notice in the film too. Quite enthralling to watch, highly recommended. Ganes! Bit of WoW. Bit of BotW. All good. 4 *s. TV! Got up to date with Suits, which has been a lot better than expected since the loss of Mike. |

Morning,
Games. Not really. Shoved some ps+ games on the nephews PS3 and a small shot of his switch. Played Mario kart using the cardboard motorcycle controls. Had a wee shot in Minecraft. Not sure about the triggers/buttons tbh. Blasphemy I'm sure.
TV. Jack Ryan on the commute.
Mrs Crank has been working from home today though she's headed off to a meeting now but will be back before lunch. Kinda scuppered any early PS4 action. The garage also won't have a faint unexplainable smell of weed.
On the plus side the housework will get done quicker.
Tldr. Aaaaaghhhhh. Friday.

I’ve been listening to some incredibly powerful music this morning and I am far, far, too pumped. There is absolutely no way I can sustain this until I am able to slack off to the pub. I’ve peaked far too soon.
Games! Elite. Other things that matter! Indifferent Australian red wine.
I’m happy to see that ArtieFunkin, late of the box, continues to have a worse Elite problem than me.

Morning!
Last night I was too tired to enjoy BDT, let alone play games. I had a snooze and came back to life in time to watch the Nintendo Direct with my preferred mammal and a bottle of whisky.
in short, I'm going to PIG OUT on Final Fantasy games. FF VII (but not VIII - insert your conspiracy theories here), IX, X, X/2 and XII Remastered are coming to the Switch. And FF XV Pocket Edition, FF Crystal Chronicles Remastered, World of Final Fantasy Maxima, and Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon Every Buddy.
That's a lot of Final Fantasy. I guess Squeenix loves us after Octopussy Travel Inn, and they are showing their love the only way they know how.
The Direct started with the glorious announcement of Luigi's Mansion 3 and ended on the most painful announcement possible of a new Animal Crossing game next year. At least I know that I will have some time to play more games before Animal Crossing takes over my life yet again. I thought I had made a clean break after years of addiction, but I guess my dealer has other plans.
I'm also looking forward to Katamari Damacy Reroll, Civilization VI (of course), more content for Splatoon 2 which I own and haven't got time to play, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 which I own and haven't got time to play and Mario Tennis Aces which I don't own and haven't got time to play.
I for one was excited to hear the announcement for a lot of board games getting digital versions - Carcassonne, Pandemic, some LOTR card game that's probably terribly addictive, Settlers of Catan and Munchkin. Nice.
Also Diablo 3. Yes, please. And the new Yoshi game still looks adorable, but what else is new.
There was more, but this is what interested me most. Nice having all these games that one can now play on the go. If one has time to play them.
