Culture? What culture?
Hello. No games to speak of last night, just 5 minutes to change out and equip my party and open a few chests on the way to boss fight in Psychopath Troubler.
I haven't played RDR and have no means to play the new one but I'm content to join the community pump and be happy for anyone else. Not for COD, though. I have standards.
TV last night had left my other half and me with the dreadful realisation that we had exhausted all current episodes of Bodyguard as well as Upstart Crow. An unsightly haggling began as we tried to find something we both were willing to watch. I suggested Dr Who - was willing to go back to older episodes to catch up eventually with the new ones. He categorically didn't want it. I asked him whether he'd actually ever seen it. He wasn't clear on that and asked whether it's the one "where people are pretending to be robots". And added: "With Daleks."
Now, I couldn't really deny that Dr Who features people pretending to be robots and also a Dalek or two, but who doesn't like Daleks??? The answer is the man I love. The same man who likes watching Upstart Crow. So we settled on watching the first episode of "Unforgotten" with Nicola Walker and Sanjeev Bhaskar and all the other usual suspects of British television, and it turned out to be a good compromise. As in "a good compromise leaves everyone mad". However, he's agreed to watch a Dr Who sometimes. Wish me luck.

What the hell is a culture interview? Do they ask you to list top 5 Beethoven symphonies / 90s hip-hop albums? It was for a relatively newly started tech company with a big emphasis on working together, improving yourself everyday blah blah. So it was all about how I'd fit into their team, which generally was actually fine. It's basically don't be a prick. So obviously I just pretended not to be.

I've been waiting 1/2 weeks between stages and now they're saying it's filled. Hurry the fucking process up. They also had the cheek to "make sure for their systems to be correctI go in and delete my own upcoming interview". Cunts. Seems ridiculously onerous - Are you applying for public sector jobs? Not for this one. I'm looking at changing careers, as I've come to the conclusion I fucking hate my job, probably why I've spent so many years watching you people talk rubbish. Now I've joined in with it myself, I've hit rock bottom. It's just the bullshit you have to go through for jobs these days, particularly for entry-level jobs which this was (I know, millennial wah wah). I've never got a job that hasn't involved at least 2 interviews and a test or some sort of presentation.

I’m certainly in favour of you improving yourself. I’d settle for weekly.

I was going to write a large post about cobbler's being completely wrong on RDR, but what's the point in arguing with the insane? Proof: supported by babyfark, who is crazy anyway but looking forward to the new call of duty?? Who the hell looks forward to COD nowadays!? It's been garbage since MW2 And supported by me too. I never got into RDR when it was first released - I bought the game, but everything felt really onerous, like a @bloggiesmalla job interview. I got on better with it when I played it over two years later, but could never relate to the Mexico-wonder-moment everyone was on about.

I interviewed in a pub. Then another pub. Most recently I was poached by someone I’d worked with at the previous place and so I just did a phone interview from somewhere in Greece, sitting on a balcony, wearing a towel, 2 cocktails in. Happily this was before FaceTime became too common.
Naturally, I can’t leave this job because I have zero modern interview skills and, perhaps more importantly, there is absolutely no way on gods earth that anyone halfway sane would ever consider employing me.
Good luck!

RDR isn't top 5, but probably top 15 games for me. I got 100% completion, and all of the SP achievements. I genuinely don't remember the part where you go into Mexico for the first time though.
The two things that stayed with me are the conversation with the sasquatch, and the Manifest Destiny trophy, which you got for killing all the buffalo.

Well I've got the RDR pump if no one else has Well me and bloggie Scubar, faceless and a few others have too. We are the silent majority. The attention to detail they've put into RDR sounds staggering. cobblers as they realise you spend so much of your time looking at the back of the horse, they've programmed it's balls to shrink and grow dependent on the temperature. World class gaming.

I really would initially like the St.Pauls one. I am serious, but am at a loss as to how much you would charge. Size, delivery etc. I've got to go now, but give me an idea.* *I probably can't afford it anyway. The Bandstand went for £50 for an A3 matt print. That was black and white, mind - I reckon it would look better on a metallic paper and gloss print, so would cost slightly more.

Dunno, sounds like a sure fire way of recruiting sociopaths to me. Glad I am not in IT or whatnot.

Sort your fucking priorities out Bloggie. Stop messing around with job rubbish and moaning about shit on here and instead put in a losing move on Dip 1v1.

Strictly starts again tomorrow night. So that means PS4 remote play / ps now to the laptop early evening gaming. Tremendous.
Would be ideal for a switch but I'm not sure about the controls after my limited shots of one.

I hadn't perceived Toad as a particularly phallic character before. Innocence lost. However, how does one explain this to the children?
