Is that American English then? We have railway stations over here, thank you very much. Common usage now, no point sticking one's head in the past, understanding what the person meant is more important, except if it's a word that really grates or those people that spell "lose" as "loose", hate them That is a crusade we can all join.

It's snowing heavy again and I can't be arsed going out so I've been playing msg on the 360 and COD. Oh and drinking beer and rum. I made a huge sausage casserole that just fitted into the pot.

Since nobody is here anymore, I and the preferred mammal may have had a slight tear while watching this:

I had something in my eye watching Paddington the other night.
Stir fry for dinner. Strictly has just started. Once the child has gone to bed I'll get the laptop out for gaming hour. She's getting to see it up till 7pm as Dr Ranj is on it. Here's hoping he doesn't get booted week 2.

Great Leader! *bows*
Rocky IV is on tonight. I shall not partake as a protest against the postal charges.
*walks away backwards, bowing profusely, still facing the leader.

It was the first one. The second one is on Amazon prime so give it a go sometime.
Loved the books as a kid.

Well after finding out C&D were session musicians, this is even more surprising and bloody good as well:

Evenin' all.
Today I had my first short taste of Dark Souls. I'm crap at it, although it was getting better. Maybe sometime I might even git gud.
My main excuse is that the button mapping is the opposite of what I'm used to. Before I was able to read the control instructions I had someone invading my personal space. They stopped attacking me and stared in wonder as I was downing most of my Estus flasks by mistake as I was trying to locate the attack button. Then they followed me as I was stomping off in the wrong direction, still fumbling with my weapon, before I was quickly killed by the first enemy. It was a fun show while it lasted.
Second time round I managed to find and read the instructions and started practising moves, particularly the forward roll. I rolled into all available furniture because it was fun, but was disappointed not to get a reward for my A+ rolling.
Once I have the full game in October one can presumably change the controls, because I'm not sure that I want live in a parallel universe where B is 'action' and A is 'back'.

I am watching Michael Palin in North Korea. It's giving me a feeling of what the UK aspires to be after Brexit.

No offline mode to stop the dicks invading?

I was pleased to note that the NK state gives men free beer coupons.
Until I heard it was for the equivalent of 5 litres a month...
EDIT: I think I'll stick with my CaMRA Wetherspoon vouchers

No offline mode to stop the dicks invading? No, it's a network test, so no offline gaming. Had a look online and glad to learn I'm not the only one screwed by the reversal of the A and B button. Something to do with the western control scheme, apparently, it's the other way around in the Japanese version.

Deckard is a actually quite a pussy, all the replicants he fought had a chance to finish him off. November 2019 when it is set is coming up soon too, God that's depressing, like when judgment day came and went from the Terminator films.
