Watched someone playing "Divinity Original Sin II Definitive Edition" and saw that you could get a squirrel riding a skeleton squirrel to follow you around, so I fired up my copy on which I have 99 HOURS played and found the saves aren't compatible, I either finish the original version or start again. Bugger

Good morning,
I got back at 6am, now have to meet (hopefully less flatulant) in-laws (but not by law, I'm fighting that battle).
Last night at a combined 29th/30th I learnt that it turns out people my age CANNOT handle their drink. It was an absolute shambles, 2 groups kicked out the club in 2 separate incidences and me having to act as a peacemaker.
I didn't get the one thing I wanted either, a classic Belfast chinese. I have discussed this before, but it's basically 3 forms of deep-fried chicken with rice and chips, smothered in gravy and some sort of "chinese" sauce.
Overall 4*
Probably more like 1*, but tradition.

No classic hungover grump yet, but I suspect I may still be drunk. I have to get on a plane later, so it'll be incoming shortly.

Lovely birthday present right there.
That Chinese does sound good - though some char sui needs to be added.

Cheese*, ham and mushroom om(e)lette** on Morton's rolls for lunch. Absolutely tremendous stuff.
*Canadian extra mature & some parmesan. **Not 1 egg but 5 as it was for 3 people.
Really enjoyed the Nintendo labo stuff yesterday at my nephew's. The vehicle controls a bit more interesting to me than the original set of labo. The joystick with the trigger for the plane was especially good - banking and swooping down.

Cheese and onion quiche with salad for lunch. It's okay, but Crank is giving me om(e)lette envy with the description of his lunch.

What does the law say about shooting your neighbours cat with an air rifle as it's shitting on your lawn? Is Scots law different? #indyref2
Can someone lend me a devil dog that will maul it?
NB. I actually like cats.

Wait gongframer has *grand* children and out-laws? How is that even possible? Children that begat children with living great grand parents? You'd need to be at least 70, or working class, for that to work by my reckoning.

Hmmm not quite 70, the farting outlaws are mrs gongs youngest and his gf, and the grandchild is their youngest. Whether that makes them inlaws, outlaws, or step-outlaws I've never been able to confirm.

An hour later, and still no answer to the sofa question. He's gone dark. He realises he's said too much.

Wasn't the best, slightly redeemed by an incredibly awkward but apologetic FB message from one of the other half's friends boyfriends. Credit for sending it mind.

Grass cut, hedge trimmed. Had a haircut and when she did my eyebrows a comb wasn't used... I feared the worst but she's done a good job. Unlike my grass.
Casserole made and eaten with another family portion leftover for the freezer.
Games you say? Pffft. Hopefully later. Unfortunately Mrs C is off work tomorrow so will probably be up later and therefore gaming hour may be a late start.

Sofa is a large L shaped affair, black leather, with motorised parts such that it will transmute into a triple bed with a couple of button presses. Nearly went dark for good as was entertaining a hyped up 4 year old whose idea of tickling involves both hands round the throat.

Doing kitchen reno demo today. Why the bloody hell do people paint over screw heads? The kitchen is over 40 years old mind. The end of my fingers ache and are bloodied and bruised. Yes I used a screwdriver! Weather? It has stopped snowing and the sun is out. I think lunch of veggie bacon butties and a walk in the bush. Oh and some beer and rum to settle down with.

Yeah I'm afraid the chimney breast prevents the fourth seat from fully unfolding so we can't quite make the quadruple
