Fun police won't let me on there. Could you not just post the image? (not that I think I'll be any help!)

It is difficult to tell from the image.
Is there an on off switch at the back of the case near the power cable? That is switched to on isn't it.
I'm not (well mainly not) intending to be rude. It is just that mostly when there is a problem with my pc it has been because I have done something stupid or overlooked something obvious. so it makes sense to check all the really stupid things you could have done first and only then see if the parts are broken.
I'd take it all apart and put it back together again to see if it works then.

I have taken cables in and out a bunch of times, so I have hopefully ruled out doing something obviously daft (though let's not rule it out). I have played about with PSU connectors for ages and read up about using two four pin plugs and a 20 plus 4 pin in 8 and 24 pin connectors and it should all still work (most PSUs are still sold 4 plus 4 and 20 plus 4 from what I can tell).

Looks dry to me. Get a pint of water and pour over everything. Then switch it back on. If this doesn't work, send it back for a refund.

The graphics card seems to be missing?
Assuming you have plugged all the case power button wires correctly into the motherboard I'm not sure. Maybe look at the motherboard manual and see if there are any jumpers you need to set.
Yellow lights look top notch though, good job on those.

Sounds like PSU related. The brief blue light can be just residual capacitance causing a kick when the switch closes. Have you got a different known working PSU you can try instead? Also the single LED that does come on - can it be used for any diagnostic output or POST check as a pointer to what is stopping the bootup. If not i'd unplug PSU and check you have all the required 12V/5V feeds and there are no munged pins in the connector plugblocks.
Frustrating, but think of the bragging rights if you can crack it

Just buy one. It’s easy and fun.
Obviously I’ve never bought a PC in my life, as I’m not a terrible person* and don’t work in tech support.

Is power being supplied to the HDDs too (echoing Sheeps comment really, wood for the trees etc.)? Or is it not even booting to BIOS? If it's not getting to BIOS then chances are you're right and it's the PSU or a faulty board. You didn't short it somehow did you? I know it seems excessive but I always use an anti- static band when working in mine.

Anyone bake off last night? I can't help but think the holly wood handshake has been devalued to the point of being worthless. Anything he can get his hands on he's shaking it.
Its wiggler Wednesday!

Danky You are correct the handshake is an embarrassment now. Time to let it go and bring in something else, I'm thinking a little sly squeeze of the bum as he walks past.

If god had intended folks to build their own computers he wouldn't have invented Simon from Norwich shirley. Looks like an amateurish lash up*. I've built several beast mode rigs (for pro audio not gaming but quite chunky nonetheless) The problem is always compatibility. Everything looks like it should all just clip together and get along happily but it doesn't and it doesn't and it usually bites you in the arse somewhere further down the line - painfully and often**. The last couple of times I got a professional to do it. TL;DR: Get a man in.

It's still cold and I've still got a cold. And there is Fuck loads of snow. What happened to fall? Will play some COD later with a hot choc. Still musing the xbone or ps4 dilemma. Amazon hd arrives tomorrow. Exciting times in the foothills.

Asus B450 motherboard with a Ryzen 2600x CPU already inserted - this could be your issue
Do you know what BIOS you have? If it is the F10 version then this is apparently incompatible with the 2600 series, despite the box saying otherwise. System will only boot up to and including the 2400 series. If so, the fix is to boot up with and older CPU, then upgrade the BIOS and then go back to the 2600 which should then boot. There are a few similar tales on t'internet re this, so looks like you make have same issue.
