Theres a library in the USA that escapes me but the manager decided to rip up the library assistant job spec and replace it with the job spec for Apple Genius Bar staff. {Edit} It was Chattanooga. They were one of the first ones to have a makerspace as well. The guy dined out at various conferences round the world on that for ages. I'm not at all jealous. |

I just finished Mafia 3. The ending is by far the best bit of the game, I'm ok with having stuck with it and the story grew on me.
SPOILERS: I went for killing everyone and being my own boss, jacked one of their cars and got blown up, turns out by the Father who set my car and hated who I'd become, poorly thought out.

Weird day so far, appropriate enough for a Chatterbox b'day. Late lunch, alarms and excursions, almost missing the vet appointment for the cat's routine blood test. Paid 80 quid for the pleasure, and now the cat is on no speaks. She's staging a protest sit-in on the computer keyboard and has just knocked the mouse off the desk. Will have to pay at least another £45 for her usual medication tomorrow. Really wish she'd use the computer to find herself a job.
Reached the liquid part of BDT.

Having deleted mafia 3 I've seen the whole game is 60gb, same with the division. That's digital only, RDR2 must be huge.

I've just bought some cords. The crankcaller effect, they call that in the marketing biz. What colour? What cut? Jumbo? Needlecord? Slim fit, narrow cord, dark greeny brown. From Gap online, where I buy all my strides since they are the only retailer that caters for my exceptionally long and, dare I say, shapely legs. |

With my ever more prevalent, erm 'thin patch' on top, I'm wondering when, if ever, a man gets to an age where a hat is ok, expected even. I mean, I already have two hats (badum), one a father's day gift a few years ago which is a baseball cap with England football logo/three lions on, it sat in a cupboard until, funnily enough, this summer when I wore it for the quarter final win (that I watched in my house). And also a bucket hat, that I wear when it's too hot to protect said thin bit, maybe when gardening or on a beach, and also when I want to pretend it's 1990 again and I'm young and cool (ish) and Ian Brown. Hat chat is the best anniversary chat. |

I thought I had it.
I thought I friggin' had it.
Playing Fortnite duos with my brother and I lost him early in the game. I proceeded to take out the duo which got him and proceeded on a 5 kill streak and a showdown with the last duo. I had set traps around me and had a heavy shotgun and basically I was Rambo on steroids. But I was a fraction off with my opening shot and finally succumbed.
