I argue bitterly with my dad about politics, especially at Christmas. I usually wake up the next morning and can't remember why, since we basically have the same views and vote for the same parties. It must be an expression of my sublimated desire for patricide.

Dirty South, it's amazing. I also have Southeastern by Jason Isbell lined up, but that's all I got atm. Hit me up with some further listening advice.

Hit me up with some further listening advice. Good choices. The latest one, American Band, is great - a proper angry, state of the union type thing. My favourite is the first disc of Southern Rock Opera. Zip City is my jam.

My mam was a 60s hippy who I'm 97% certain was a member of Baader Meinhof for a couple of years.

Afternoon,
I think that we are having too many votes, after brexit there was a big argument about whether the british people were clever enough to vote on something so complex. I think that argument is equally valid to you people and which way round the comments should be.
Admin- can we have a vote over whether or not we should have more votes?
PS. I had vegetarian Bolognese for lunch, anyone else wondering what shotput had?

philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre visited Baader in Stammheim Prison where he was being held. He allegedly described Baader after the meeting as being a "twat".
Unsuually to the point for a philosopher.
