And why don't they crisp the bacon in the mcmuffins? I've given this some thought over the years. The only plausible conclusion is that they want to discourage you from buying them, so you go for the sausage mcmuffin instead. Why they want you to do that I've yet to figure out.

BLOPS OPS is winging its way through the postal system as we speak. Although if the servers don't go up until Friday it will be a moot point.
In other news I've just received an email with the subject line 'Gravitas'. Which one of you has been emailing me?

Also, out of interest why did you buy the hard copy? I mean why wait for a new release to arrive in the post in this day and age when you can just download? You'll have to spend ages downloading with the CD version anyway.

Morning all. Did IQs drop sharply while I was away? You've been away? I must have missed that memo. Away for much of the morning. Which makes that sharp IQ drop all the more concerning. Please, everyone, check that there are working batteries in your carbon monoxide detectors.

What's everyone spending on lunch today? Nil. Homemade cheese sandwich, fruit shoot hydro blackcurrant drink and Muller yogurt. We covered the economics of this yesterday. Whilst imprecisely worded, you should have interpreted the question to require you to give the total economic cost to you of your lunch today, including a separate note on the value of your or your mammal's time spent buying or preparing it, costing your time at an approximation of your net hourly pay. I have no idea what I will spend. Definitely less than Crank.

Seriously you guys are buying video games wrong. Unless it's some fancy special edition with maps and shit of course... They're doing it right buying physical. £45 for the disc. 2 days later, realise it's absolute trash. Trade in for £35 at CEX. Net loss: £10 You, who has foolishly downloaded: £45 loss.

You're banking on hating the game right away here and you are also likely to pay for post and packaging. In most cases you will be out of pocket, especially if CEX offer far less than £35 (more likely the longer you leave it) or only provide store credit or some nonsense. And then there's the hassle of going into a sweaty CEX shop in your time, mingling with the CEX customers etc...

Shenguin said: "I have no idea what I will spend. Definitely less than Crank." Doubt it. I spent money on breakfast. Lunch is 5 oatcakes and a dod of spreading cheese, two baby tomatoes, an apple, water. Apart from the water all from home and all were part of bigger packets.

Why would I pay nearly £20 more for it when the disc version always arrives before the official release anyway?

I'm pretty sure Xbox Live and PSN both charge a significant premium compared to the physical versions. Buying from GAME it might be about the same, but if you get it online from places like Shopto its almost always at least £10 cheaper.

So once you guys decide to play a different game to COD you have to get off the sofa, walk all the way to the console, eject the disk, fumble about putting it back in its box and then fish out another game to play probably off disk as well?
Meanwhile I will just breeze through a few on screen menus and select PUBG or whatever all whilst sat on my fat ass #winning.
