Sorry to hear that, Amipal. What counts is having given him a good life, and you and the vet did what's best at the end. Very sad that your other cat is missing his pal.
It was different when our second cat died a few years ago, she had never got on with the remaining one. She was quite relieved to find that she was an only cat again and just keeps on going, she's 19 now.

Sorry to hear that Amipal. At least Amipal Jr is a bit too young to understand, small blessings and all that.

Thanks Destry, but unfortunately we had to put him to sleep this evening. He was only four years old. So... what's everyone up to this weekend? Sorry to hear that. I had to put my 16 year old dog down, had him since I was doing my GCSEs. Explaing to my kids the garden and how the he will be part of trees and plants wasnt easy.

I'm getting ads at the bottom of the screen, asking for donations: I would have thought that if any country had the ability (if not the will) to feed its people, (without begging for donations) it's the US of A.
Although TBH I would have said the same about the UK until recently

I completed Claire A the other day. 4hrs it took me but its a good four hours. Sometime I think open world games although sometimes excellent can be over long.
Leon B then Nemisis next. Oh and Persona 4.

Just heard that the day after my granddaughter's birthday she will be getting two baby brothers. Originally planned for the end of the month, eviction time for the two lads will be brought forward due to complications. Never a dull moment! This is going to create quite a birthday cluster (and the second granddaughter's birthday is just after Christmas, so they are really not spacing it out). Probably best to ask Hamleys to send their entire inventory once in October and once at Christmas and be done with it.

@tenthen that sounds good, well done. Except for the word complications. I guess it's still good though, over all.

Hello. Games? No! Telly? Bit of Glow. It's ok. Plans for the weekend? Family visiting - the sense of dread, and guilt about the dread, is already upon me. This. Nothing worse than family visiting. That's why I moved 13000kms away from them....

BDT report. All the booze. And about half a bottle of incredibly rough 2003 St Emilion. I’m hoping the remainder might have mellowed slightly overnight, otherwise it’s getting decanted into the sink. Or I’ll give it to sheeps. Games. No. But I’m getting a little bit of RDR pump. Just a smidgen. We’ll see. Trying to book my last hurrah(s) of travelling on a sensible passport. There’s so few flights it’s incredible. Either everyone’s doing the same or the operators have shit themselves and are madly hoarding cash. We’re all doomed. Rdr pump is the bestest
