Not only is he still alive, but Bernard Cribbins is also hanging on grimly so that he can play Steve in the inevitable big-budget biopic.

I think that Sheep means that Steve Bruce has been dead to him for a number of years.

Brum-splaining. A real indignity for a man of my advanced years.

That's a late lunch. Toasted sandwich: turkey, cheese, tomato. Packet of Worcester sauce crisps, water.

The highlight of my lunch was finding a can of Juicebox citrus IPA in Tesco. Sober October seems to have me compulsively buying beers whenever I see them.
In other news, the time has come for me to start applying for graduate schemes/jobs starting next year. There doesn't seem to be that many in the renewable energy/sustainability sector in and around Edinburgh though. Maybe most of the renewable ones are listed as electrical engineering? I know not. Just give me a job.

Actually in an office of 30 people the chance of two of you having the same birthday is like, really high or something. I'm pretty sure I once read you only need a room of nine people to pretty much guarantee they'll have the same birthday (not year) something to do with the autumnal distribution of babies due to winter blackouts / cuddling etc.

amipal has the same birthday as his twin. Coincidence? I think not.

It's 23 people in an office for a 50-50 chance of two having the same birthday and 75 for a 99.9% chance, apparently. I've succumbed to peer/pump pressure and preordered RDR2. I hope you're all proud of yourselves. (you can get it for £45 with the 10% off code on ebay until 8pm for anyone still looking).

Well, it seems my 1000th post was the fruit of two bits of research conducted whilst I should have been working. Apt.

Uh-oh. I just read this timely 'twin swapped at birth' story: www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2018/oct/19/swapped-at-birth-adopted-by-mistake-twinFortunately the grandtwins look very similar to each other. I don't know who the 'older' one is. They were born by Caesarean, so I suppose it's pure chance who got pulled out first. Doesn't really matter either, as long as they are not heir to the throne or inheriting the farm or something.

Twins are odd. Only 1.75 personalities per pair. 1.5 if they are identical.
It's unusual that Amipal's brother got all the 1.75. Clearly a family that practises primogeniture properly.

As the older child I am all in favour of primogeniture.
Best invention since China's one child policy.

I remember multiplayer Turok on the N64 and creeping around with arrows stuck in me when all of a sudden I would drop to the floor and start spazzing out as some sod got me with a cerebral bore.

I want to buy it... But I've yet to finish the single player GTA as the evil multiplayer drags me online, I've yet to finish sleeping dogs, I've yet to finish the Division.
*Sigh*
Wheres my wallet.
