It got my PC mostly working now, seems to boot OK. The CPU has all manner of fancy lights which spin and change colour, seems a shame to lock it away in a case. Also played some Fortnite with brother and may give the Alpha mode a go over the weekend. Hopefully a curry later. Boiler is working OK too, albeit with a temporary fuse board.

Hi! Games? No.
Telly? Thor Ragnarok. Very good. Whitechapel. Ludicrous.
Ottm? Something has been bugging me about young people - ironic dressing. I saw a guy yesterday with ancient hi-tek badminton shoes, ill fitting cords that stopped a few inches above his ankles, and a weird baggy sweatshirt. For the avoidance of doubt, I was not in the vicinity of a mirror at the time. But how do the other young people know that he is a cool guy and not just someone who has not been to a shop for 15 years and dresses in the dark? Is there a secret code? A special walk? What is the signal? Perplexing.
I am also one year older as of today. At least I am a day younger than sheep and llamaman.

Morning all!
I played some more AC Pirates yesterday. I continue to love the fact that the crew cheer you when you return to the wheel after a mission on land. "Yaaaaargh!!"
I then finished some training on programming fundamentals, and got 39/39 questions correct. I'm a pretty big deal.

Happy birthday Rolling. It seems chatterboxer parents were particularly amorous around mid January, maybe nothing else to do on those cold winter nights back then.
I thought was Thor Ragnarok was definitely one of the better Marvel films.

Happy Birthday! Tis the season.
Is there a drunken public holiday 9 months ago?
{Edit} Baby is probably right. Cuddling for warmth in the dark winter months.

Wow, Rolling says it's his birthday, and Crank and Baby both immediately jump to imagining his parents having the hot sex love time.
Happy Birthday Rolling. I hope you managed to avoid thinking about the sweet sweet love that made you.

Happy birthday llama, sheep, rolling. In fact just to get it out of the way, happy birthday to anyone else who has one coming up. Or has had one previously.

Hello
And a happy birthday to our own circumrotatory snail.
And also belatedly for our very own dusty ovine number 2.

I really enjoyed the sea shanties & the shooty bang bang stuff. I might play it again as Deadspace3 (classic) is really making my piss boil. OTTM: I think I have the beginnings of an abscess on the root of one of my upper incisors. Balls.

Hello And a happy birthday to our own circumrotatory snail. Did he get that done at birth? And how do you know?

Not having reached adult size 15 years ago I'm guessing. Was having a similar discussion in work with a guy whose son had just bought a suit online. He said he saw his son try it on and described it as skin tight and too short at the legs and assumed it would be sent back. He was shocked to find out it fitted as intended. I think my cut off for dressing young fell somewhere between skinny jeans and bare ankles, as I sported the former and not the latter.

Happy birthday to the fellow Libra's out there (Libras? Librarians?)
I stayed up until 3 playing Soul Calibur and I regret absolutely nothing.

Having too many Birthdays will eventually kill you so stop now Failing to have any more birthdays is also not a good sign. Basically, we're all screwed.

In my first job in the big smoke there were two of us with Birthdays on 18 October and two with birthdays on 19 October. As there were fewer than 30 people there I put it down to the bosses having a fetish for October birthdays. That and cold winters in the early to mid 1970s. Not a lot to do during the blackouts and 3 day weeks.
Happy birthday to you, and to my ex-colleagues.

Basically I think anyone who doesn't have their birthday in mid to early-late October isn't a genuine human being. They can pass, but it's a mixture of cyborgs, robots, shapeshifters, changelings, mimics and aliens none of whom have quite understood how humanity actually works. They have (mostly) got the crude details right, but when you look closely it is pretty obvious these are not real people. The internet has been of great help to the interlopers as they don't even need real bodies for the most part now.
